## What the App Does
Image Compressor is an all-in-one offline image toolkit. It provides six on-device tools:
1. **Compress** — reduce JPG / PNG / WebP file size
2. **Resize** — resize photos with social media presets (Instagram, Story / Reel, Facebook Cover, YouTube Thumbnail, X, LinkedIn, TikTok)
3. **Convert** — JPG ↔ PNG ↔ WebP ↔ HEIC ↔ PDF
4. **To PDF** — combine multiple images into a single PDF document
5. **ID Photo** — passport / visa photo maker (US 2×2, UK / EU 35×45 mm, Schengen, China visa)
6. **Remove BG** — one-tap background remover
**All image processing happens entirely on your device.** Your photos are never uploaded to our servers (we do not operate any servers) and are never sent to any third party.

## Information We Collect
### 1. Information We DO NOT Collect
The App does **NOT** collect, store, or transmit any personal information such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Precise location data
- Age or date of birth
- Contacts, microphone audio, SMS, call logs
- Photos or images you process (these stay on your device)
We also do **NOT** require account creation or sign-in. There is no login screen.
### 2. Local Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following data **only on your device**:
- **App preferences** — language, theme, and other settings
- **Processed images** — when you compress, resize, convert, build a PDF, generate an ID photo, or remove a background, the output is saved to your gallery / app storage. The original image is never modified or overwritten.
- **Temporary cache** — short-lived image cache for performance during processing
This data remains on your device and is **not** transmitted to our servers.

## Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party SDKs. None of them receive your photos or personal identity.
### a) Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display ads (the App is free). AdMob may collect:
- Advertising ID
- IP address
- Device information (model, OS version, language, country)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

The App does **not** request location, contacts, microphone, SMS, call logs, or any other sensitive permissions.

## Data Security
- All photo processing (compress, resize, convert, PDF, ID photo, background removal) happens **on your device** — no cloud, no API call with your image
- No personal data is transmitted to our servers (we have no servers of our own)
- Third-party SDKs (AdMob, Firebase) follow Google's industry-standard security practices

## Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for general audiences and complies with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act):
- We do **not** knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
- No registration is required
