The first FunMath logo ever!
I don't know what to write for this message. To be honest, I never thought I would have to write this. So I guess I'll just do what I'm best at and rant about this topic:
Hey everyone, I hope you're doing well.
I don't want to change that, but I think I'm about to, at least for a few of you that care as much as I do about this website. In case you haven't seen the announcement banner yet, FunMath will officially be shutting down on April 30th, 2026. There will be a livestream hosted by yours truly and a few of my friends that evening, including those who have been a major part of FunMath since its start, and all of the workers of FunMath.
I first started creating these types of websites 4 years ago (FunMath itself was 3 years ago), and at first, it was a joke. But eventually, it grew into something much more than a joke. A thing that made me popular (at least for a while), a thing that everyone loved, a thing that showed how I had grown over 4 years. But as you might know, I started this in 5th grade. And now I'm in 8th. And it's kinda perfect that only now did it get blocked.
Anyways, what I'm trying to say is thank you so much for everything. FunMath is something that means more to me than I can put in words, and the only reason it was ever possible was because of you. What's next? Well, I can't share too much yet, but follow our YouTube Channel, the ThinkTank™ Website, and our Mailing List, and something bigger than FunMath ever was is in the works!
I'm still working on getting FunMath unblocked, and if we can, then we might bring FunMath back.
You guys are the absolute best.
For the last time,
Sincerely,
EK
CEO & Creator of FunMath
Hello there!
I'm sorry for not updating sooner, but now we're back in business! FunMath got blocked in a few school districts that I'm aware of, so I've been dealing with those individually, but on the bright side, FunMath is still actively being used by 24 to 36 a day by those of you in schools where it's not blocked! So thank you for that. All of my FunMath energy has been put into getting it back up in those schools, and so far its proving to be more of a pain than I expected. Basically, I apologize for not being here this past week or two and I promise that a new and super cool update will be out by the end of the week!
Also, please please please tell your friends, because if we can continue FunMath at the same numbers as previously, maybe I can keep it running longer and add more updates. So yeah, I'll check in later too. See you around I guess!
Sincerely,
EK
Hola, bonjour, ciao, 안녕하세요—hello in whatever language you speak (those are the most common on FunMath)! Today I want to talk about something that is, quite frankly, too important to me: FunMath’s success. And to do that, I’m actually going to give you two answers.
Short Answer: Yes. But not quite as you would expect.
Long Answer: From March of 2025 to now, FunMath’s analytics have been in sharp decline, and I’m not gonna sugarcoat it. The numbers aren’t what they used to be, and the trend hasn’t been great. But even with that decline, there are still hundreds of dedicated users who continue to use FunMath every single day. There’s a whole community around it—people who remember it, people who FunMath has helped, and people who still come back because it made a difference for them.
In reality, over 500 different people from different countries have used FunMath at one point or another. And even though it’s not that big of a website, it has had a genuinely positive impact on people. So in my eyes, yes, FunMath has been successful. However, if you care strictly about analytics, then no, FunMath would currently not be considered successful.
Anyways, just thought I’d share that.
Toodles!
EK
Hey guys, I don't know what to do with EK's Rants anymore that isn't boring or too much about myself, so this rant will be on not knowing what to write I guess.
I could write about drama, but there’s none in my sight. No secret explosions, no tea to ignite. I could ramble on stress or the meaning of life, but I’ve done all that thinking, and twice was enough strife. I could try being funny, go wild, get absurd, but I’ve pulled that trick too, and I don’t need another weird word. I could open up deep, spill my heart on this site, but do I really want my whole life on a games page tonight? So here I sit staring at this blank little space, trying to conjure a thought that won’t vanish without trace. And somewhere between all my shrugging and spite, I accidentally filled it by saying I couldn’t write. Turns out the nothing I claimed I had left became its own something - a quiet, ironic theft. A whole little ramble born out of my doubt, proof that even “I’ve got nothing” still somehow comes out.
That poem took way longer than I thought it would. Hopefully it was good enough, RhymeZone is one of the best websites ever! (FunMath is up there too)
So now that I have time to do stuff again (not really lol, I'm so jam packed with things to do its barely funny), REALLY NEW AND EXCITING UPDATES ARE IN THE WORKS. I mean super exciting, like it'll knock your socks off more than that absolutely stunning Valentine's Day logo. I can't much yet, but who doesn't like a good short film? Or a new interface? Or 20+ new games? Okay, that's too much already. I know, I know, why can't it happen already? But you'll just have to wait. Mainly because they're still IN THE WORKS. Anyways, it means a lot that you read this and are using FunMath still. (I honestly can't believe it)
Signed,
EK
Hey everyone-it's me again. Come on, you couldn't have possibly forgotten my "name". Oh for crying out loud, I'll tell you: EK. And it's been a little while since a major update (or even rant) was posted on FunMath. Now here's kinda what happened:
I got the flu and had to stop editing FunMath due to extreme headaches whenever I did anything (read rant below for more context)
Shortly after I healed, my family and I went to Disney because we had booked it in December and it was non-refundable.
After 10 days of being out, I finallly came back to a bunch of schoolwork, music work, and much, much more.
I have just about caught up to most of the work, and that's where I am now.
So I do apologize for being out so much and not editing FunMath as much as I usually do, but please stick around, the third anniversary celebration in March and the Valentines Day celebration in a week are gonna be HUGE, plus there's a special announcement on the third anniversary...are you ready? Also, more games as always are going to be added, and I might post another rant soon. Thank you so much for sticking around (you're one of the 100-ish people left), and helping keep FunMath alive!
Cheers,
EK
Hey everyone, I have an important thing to talk about today: (INSERT THING HERE). I’ve been reflecting on it for what feels like several geological eras, and I think I finally understand… something. Maybe. So, how do you feel about (INSERT THING HERE)? I know it can be a sensitive topic, depending on the lighting, the humidity, and the emotional stability of everyone within a five‑mile radius. Sometimes I enjoy (INSERT THING HERE) too, but only under extremely controlled circumstances that no one has ever successfully recreated.
But lately things have gotten out of hand. I casually mentioned (INSERT THING HERE) once, and suddenly people started appearing from behind furniture to give their opinions. One person whispered “bold take” and vanished into a cloud of dust. Another handed me a pamphlet titled “The Hidden Dangers of (INSERT THING HERE)” and then sprinted away like they were late for a prophecy.
And honestly, I’m not saying (INSERT THING HERE) is good or bad — I’m just saying that last time someone brought (INSERT THING HERE) to a gathering, the atmosphere shifted. Not metaphorically. The actual atmosphere. Barometric pressure dropped. A plant learned a new language. Someone’s smartwatch refused to connect out of self‑preservation.
Still, we have to address it. We can’t keep pretending (INSERT THING HERE) isn’t quietly expanding its influence. It’s already in conversations. It’s already in public spaces. It’s already been spotted lurking near the snack table at multiple events, pretending it’s “just browsing.”
So stay aware. Stay adaptable. Stay ready for whatever (INSERT THING HERE) becomes next. Because at this point, even (INSERT THING HERE) doesn’t know what (INSERT THING HERE) is anymore.
Sincerely,
EK
Hey everyone! You probably have absolutely no idea what I'm gonna talk about today. I know my title was very vague and I apologize if I didn't make clear the subject of conversation today. Anyways, in case you were wondering (which you probably weren't), I have the flu! Yay! I've been so looking forward to this for the past two months (definetly not dreading it at all), and this is even more than I could have ever imagined!
With that hopefully obvious sarcasm out of the way, in all honesty, I feel awful, but hey, it ain't my first rodeo! One fact I may have neglected to mention on my previous "Hi, I'm EK." post was that my immune system is really really bad and has been since I had to perform in my fourth grade musical whilst really sick. Since then, I get sick approx. every two months (sometimes every month if I'm lucky). Last year I had strep and this year, I have the flu.
But on the bright side, more time to update FunMath and binge watch TV Shows, right? I hate to say it, but you could not be more WRONG. I have this awful headache that won't end and I'm so tired I want to fall asleep but for some reason, I can't. The headache prohibits me from doing LITERALLY ANYTHING AT ALL, and I can barely get through this post itself. So yes, I may have to take a temporary hiatus for a day or two until I get better, and for all my friends, I'll be out until I no longer have a fever (so could be up to five days). Maybe I'll pop back in tomorrow if I'm feeling better and have nothing else to do. Otherwise, thanks for reading and hope you pop on by this page soon, we'll see what happens!
Have a good one and happy gaming,
EK
Hello there! I had this cool idea to explain some little-known facts about me. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I guess I'll just do this in list form, it helps me organize my thoughts best. (That's the first little-known fact I guess)
I'm a lefty
I used to be (and still am a little bit) egocentric/narcissistic
I have a stellar long-term memory, but awful short term memory
I'm a multipotentialite
I'm working on a musical
My favorite color is blue
My favorite food is steak
I lost my mind once for a couple months
I almost shut down FunMath (when I lost my mind)
FunMath's predecessor was actually created initially as a joke
My favorite place is Las Vegas
Well, now you can say you learned something new today! I've been really busy lately, so hopefully you can understand why I've been working on FunMath a little less, but rest assured, big things are in the works! Until next time, happy gaming!
Cheers,
EK
Okay, I know what you're thinking (yes I'm a mind reader now lol). "Why are you ranting about something FunMath related?" Well this is the (very successful) replacement to the former "News and Updates" page. Therefore, if there are news or updates I need to talk about, then I'll put it here. And that's what I'm doing now.
Alright, with that out of the way, let's get into it:
Today, January 12th, 2026, the current FunMath domain (sites.google.com/view/funmathcenter) will be merged to our previous, better, domain (sites.google.com/view/funmath) that got blocked but is now back up! FunMath will be down from approximately 4:00PM to 4:15PM for the merger.
New FunMagic tools are out and we are planning to put them on certain pages to integrate them into your FunMath experience.
We have successfully acquired operationship of HydrogenX! After over a year of a ridiculous, immature, and unnecessary battle between FunMath and HydrogenX (mostly because of me), we are proud to announce that we have acquired operationship of HydrogenX! The new rebrand, new features, and new games will be towards the middle of this week to this weekend. For now, it is still owned by Elemental Games.
New games are coming out! I know that it doesn't seem like FunMath gets many updates, but we're constantly updating it with brand new games each day, so that's always happening!
New features? Yes! A new feature is in production and should be coming out early next week.
New FunMath YouTube videos are in the works! A special 3 year anniversary video will be coming out on the anniversary, and another video titled "5 Reasons Why YOU Should Use FunMath" will becoming out this month!
Thanks for readng and I hope you're as excited for these updates as I am! Until next time, hapy gaming!
Cheers,
EK
Hello everyone, good day, night, afternoon, evening, morning, or midday! In case you didn't know, I'm very musical. I play 4 instruments, write my own music, am working on a musical, and don't go a day without listening to music. So I though I should share my general music taste and top songs of 2025.
My favorite genre: Indie. It has to be tuneful and have some pop in it, but it is my favorite genre.
My favorite song: "Somebody that I Used to Know" by Gotye and Kimbra. I know. Early 2000's, but still, a classic that I love anytime I hear it.
My most listened to song of 2025: "Sick of U" by BoyWithUke and Oliver Tree. I think I listened to this at least 100 times in 2025 alone, but I've already listened to it a lot in 2026 too! Great song if you like somewhat tuneful and depressing rap! If you don't like rap, I would recommend the piano cover. It's also really good!
My newest artists of 2025: Jukebox the Ghost, BoyWithUke, and Ren. All wonderful artists and I would recommend you check them out!
My top artist of 2025: AJR. AJR is my favorite band, so the fact I was top 0.2% of listeners comes as no surprise to me.
My most explored genres: Classic Rock and Rap. Love both of them under certain specifications.
And finally, Most Listened to Album: The full "EPIC: The Musical" by Jorge Rivera-Herrans. Such a good, fun, and beautiful musical. I recommend checking it out if you have a few hours. Or just minutes to listen to a song or two from it.
If you decide to listen to any of these, happy listening, and as always, happy gaming! Hopefully this one was more interesting than the last!
Cheers,
EK
Hey everyone! I was recently thinking "hey, what could I do that would bore everyone that views EK's Rants out of the mind?" And I thought of the perfect thing. "A life update!" In all seriousness, I don't think I've really talked too much about my life lately, and I do apologize if this bores you out. I promise more entertaining things are to come!
Okay, I think I'm gonna do a list recap of my winter break and where I am now.
I celebrate Christmas, so that was as wonderful as always!
I went to Atlantic City because I'm a gambling addict. (not really) My favorite place in the world is...Las Vegas! (You can laugh here) AC is reminiscent of Vegas for me, so that's why I go.
I continued work on my musical (yep I'm writing a musical), and the plot, script, and music are doing soooo well! (Seriously my latest song is beautiful)
I resumed work on a book I was doing last year until "the incident", and then I just forgot about it.
As if I wasn't crazy enough, I'm also working on a TV show based on a real life game that I created at recess a long time ago.
So uhhhh...that's my life update I guess! Hopefully it was somewhat interesting and yeah, I'll let you know what happens, especially if there's anything insanely important!
Cheersies,
EK
Christmas. The time of year that is the absolute happiest. Joy, generosity, fun, simplicity, and everything that's good is everywhere in this wonderful time of year. There's nothing like it. So firstly, I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas of course! Secondly though, FunMath is used mainly by people in middle school, and let me guess...each year you feel further away from Christmas, Santa, and all that joy you used to feel. Because you no longer believe. And I'm not asking you to believe in Santa. Maybe he exists. Maybe he doesn't. I certainly won't say anything on FunMath saying otherwise. But what if you could believe in one thing...the spirit of Santa and Christmas. Believe in joy, peace, generosity, fun, simplicity, and everything that's good in the world. If you can do that, you're already one step closer to believing in Christmas. Because that's what Christmas is all about.
I also wanted to talk about one more thing...after Christmas is over, after you've unwrapped your presents and said goodbye to your family, after the fire's dying down, you may feel a little down. It makes sense, you get all of this excitement and hapiness and then it leaves relatively quickly. But I think the best way to come down from Christmas is to do it gradually. Maybe focus on your presents that you got, or watch a movie, or do something you love, or find joy in the little things around you. Any of those that bring you joy on a usual day may help you out when you're coming down from Christmas.
Anyways, Merry Christmas everyone and thank you for using FunMath. We're not as big as we used to be, but we're still moving along well, and it simply wouldn't be possible without you. It really means the world to me. So thanks!
Merry Christmas,
EK
Shalom, merry Christmas, and happy holidays! I don't know what to do for this rant, but I do know one thing: potatoes are delicious. So that's what I'm gonna type about for god knows how long (Maybe even god doesn't know, only god knows if god doesn't know, so yeah). Potatoes are a really good source of many things that I don't want to research right now because I'm lowkey lazy. But they sure are good. Now I know what you're thinking, potatoes aren't that good. But they are. Fries are a byproduct of potatoes. Mashed potatoes with butter and garlic are a byproduct of potatoes (It's almost like potatoes are in mashed potatoes name, but not quite). Anyways, I'm not talking about potted toes. Oftentimes people mix up potatoes with potted toes, but I think anyone who likes potted toes are crazy (It is cannibalism, but I'm not gonna get into how dark potted toes can be if you add enough pepper). So I just felt like clarifying that. In conclusion, potatoes are delicious and nutritious vegetables that can be helpful for any type of purpose you need. Even potato cars. The end.
In all seriousness, I just felt like being silly today because I didn't have anything to write, so I'm not losing my mind and you don't need to be worried about me. Feel free to let me know what you thought about it and remember...there's a special EK rant and new limited edition feature on Christmas day only, so make sure to check in sometime before 10:00PM on December 25th! Otherwise, merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Cheers,
EK
Have you been missing your younger self lately? I used to do a lot of that myself, especially around the holiday season, because you miss the time when you believed that magic was indeed real. I think I may have finally found a solution to that feeling of nostalgia. Think about it this way: when you were younger, you saw everything in the world with wonder. You would see an energy plant polluting the world and look at it with wonder at how big it was and how many "clouds" it was making (Seriously though, my parents used to call them "cloud making factories"). I think the solution is really that simple. Look at everything with wonder again. It may be a little hard, but try it out each time you can remember. For example, I was in New York City last night, and I remembered. So, I looked up at all the buildings and marveled at their height. And I felt happier. If we can find the joy in the little things in life, maybe we can finally be satisfied and find the happiness we've been chasing ever since we grew up.
Don't forget, stay tuned next week on Christmas for a special, limited edition surprise on FunMath and EK's Rants!
Until then, stay happy,
EK
Hey everyone, hope you're doing well! I know its been a little while, but I literally had no time to write a rant or update FunMath over the last few days as it was concert week. But that's now over and it went well, so yay! Here's a quick story, but not Storytime, that will explain what you're about to see: It was literally a month after what I guess I'll refer to as "the incident" (enough of you know), so I was not in a good mood whatsoever. As if I wasn't miserable enough, FunMath then got taken down by Google and I had very few ways of getting it up other than checking and deleting one page at a time and even hiring a website designer to figure out what it was. It turns out it was the game board (that's why we don't have one now). But before that, I opened two new websites hoping people would use them. But they didn't at all. So I shut them down and almost shut down FunMath. Because of the incident, I may sound very overdramatic, but that's how I was then, and it frankly embarrasses me that I could type those words. And although I'm known for many crash outs, this is my biggest crash out ever. Here it goes:
RIP FunMath
This message was NOT written with ChatGPT
Dear friends and enemies,
On March 3rd, 2023 FunMath, the best and first UB Games website ever created in the Leonia School District was created. With the push of a button, I, My Real Name (EK for now) created FunMath, not just a website, but a movement. A movement of people.
On January 26th, 2025, our website was taken down for violation of terms of service by Google, and I haven't been able to get it back since. So, to keep things going, I created two new websites, FM (Formerly FunMath) and Saturn as two temporary websites while I tried to get our website back.
During these times, most of the people that relied on FunMath everyday began to get mad at me. From screaming at me to not listening to me, going to school everyday became a living hell, just wondering if or when I was going to get my website back. So, I posted stuff on FM and Saturn, warning you that if nothing changed, this was going to happen. But just like most kids in this twisted world of school, no one listened. Nothing changed.
It is January 31st, 2025 and I am at home sick. Do you like a story? I do. Let me tell you a short one, just for a moment. Whenever I was sick at home, I used to go on my computer and watch the FunMath analytics live. Seeing every one of you that went on there made my heart leap and made me a little less sicker. Today, I did just that, looking for the same comfort that I have always felt from these analytics. But what did I find?
23 people. Let's compare that to last week when we had 397 people using our website. That's called nothing. That's called a whopping 94.2% less people using FunMath than last week. And that's not enough people for the hard work that I used to spend every day trying to keep FunMath working and unblocked. I've always said it and I'll say it again: This couldn't have been possible without YOU. And now there is no you.
And so, my team and I have made the heartbreaking decision to shut down FunMath. The worst part? I always thought it would become a website that I would run for years to come. I even bought my team FunMath t-shirts and bought myself a FunMath branded mug, that's how confident I was that this would be something. But it isn't. And without this website, I'm not something either. I'm nothing. There. I said it. Without this website, I'm a nobody.
And I'm fine with that. Do you know how many people as soon as they learned I owned FunMath came up to me and asked "Can I be your friend?". And I'm not joking. Literally, it went something like this:
Me: You use FunMath, right?
Them: Yeah, why?
Me: I created it, so just want to make sure people u-
Them: YOU CREATED IT?! Can I please be your friend?
Me: Sure.
You see how ridiculous that is? And therefore, I'm shutting it down. To the few of you, the 23 of you to be exact that used FunMath through our hardest times, thank you. To those of you who screamed at me, I warned you, and you didn't listen. And now you're paying the price. And don't think you can go to useclassplay or HydrogenX. I also warned you about that. If there's no FunMath, then there will be NOTHING.
And before I go on, stop the My Real Name Here (EK for now) (Btw this was actually a real thing) villain arc. I'm evil. There, I said that too. I'm not a good person. Say what you want, but I'm not a good person, and when people take for granted how kind and encouraging and understanding I try to be of others, thinking that I'm not human, that I don't have emotions other than happy, then that truly brings out the worst in me. In fact, if you were in my position, it would bring out the worst of you.
Therefore, I'm done with it all. I've thoroughly (and probably way too thoroughly) explained every reason to shutting down FunMath. From personal reasons to analytics, I'm done, and there's nothing anyone can do, no amount of money, not even the most powerful person in the world, not even if god came down from the heavens, that can make me bring it back.
But folks, the fun isn't over. In fact, the so-called "fun" is only beginning...
Forever yours,
My Real Name Here (EK for now)
Former CEO of FunMath
And the fun did begin when FunMath came back. Thank you again for all of you. It's amazing how much I've changed in less than a year. And here we are. Back on our own two feet. Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day in every way!
Sincerely,
EK
Hello everyone, welcome back to EK's Rants! I think I want to start a new series on here called "Storytime with EK" (maybe even a new separate page if this does well). Well, it's the holiday season, and so I thought I should tell a holiday-themed story. Real quick before we begin, I wanna disclose that everything I'm saying in this is 100% true based on my memory. Okay, here it is:
Around a year or two ago, just like every year, we got our Christmas tree. In case you don't know, Christmas and Winter in general are my favorite season, but I digress. Just like every year, we put the Christmas tree on our car, drove it to our house, brought it in, and just like every year, we decorated the Christmas tree. Other than Christmas itself, the day when we decorate our Christmas tree is my favorite day of December, so this was really fun. After we had finished, I took a big look at it and was honestly stunned. It was one of the best Christmas trees my family has ever decorated. Beautiful, tall, big, and overall just magical. Anyhow, a few days later we went to a dinner at my absolute favorite restaurant in the world (I've been to over 8 countries, and the best in the world so far is a 5 minute drive from my house). As always, the food was wonderful and overall a heartwarming and fun night to celebrate the holiday season. So, we drove home, put the key in the house door, and opened it. I was the first one to see it. The best Christmas tree we'd ever decorated had fallen over. My parents saw it next. Typically my parents get really mad whenever I curse, but this time, they completely let it slide as they ran to the tree. Tons of broken glass everywhere. Ornaments with memories practically attached to them. Shattered. In the end, we lost around 15 important ornaments and had to glue together some others. Not to mention all of the more generic glass red and silver ornaments. I guess we just didn't put the tree up well enough. However, we cleaned up the mess, put the tree back up, and re-decorated it. And even after that whole ordeal, when Christmas day came around, it was just as magical as always. Maybe even a little more.
Well, I hope you liked that! Feel free to let me know if you would like more stories like that, I love writing and telling them, so it wouldn't be an ordeal like this one at all! Wishing you warmth and hapiness this holiday season, and I'll continue posting each week, and there may even be a special, exclusive Christmas rant too...
A lot of glass was broken when the tree fell, but no glasses were broken. You know, the kind where you drink out of them and say...
Cheers,
EK
Hello everyone, you can definitely tell from the title what I'm going to talk about today. If you can't, you're definitely an idiot.
Wait...maybe I'm an idiot. Because I don't know what I'm going to talk about today. Maybe I'm an idiot just like all of you. Or maybe none of us are idiots. Yay! I'm a genius now I guess because why not! Okay, I wanna do something different today. No more I miss the old FunMath, no complaining, or how to fix your life, or the next generation is cooked or anything. So, here it goes.
EK's Review on the Poll of the Day over the last year
First poll: "Do you miss the News and Updates Page?" 4 yes, 2 no, 8 I never knew it existed.
Next up: "Have you suggested FunMath to someone else in the past two weeks? (If you haven't, you probably should, it would really help our website)" 5 yes, 1 no.
Next up: "Do you care?" (OH DEAR I DON'T THINK I WAS MENTALLY OKAY WHEN I WROTE THIS ONE) 5 yes, 1 no. (Seriously what's wrong with you one person who said no?)
Next: "Do you feel like you can be yourself in school and around your friends?" 6 no, 5 yes. (I don't either)
Almost Done: "Are you happy you're back in school?" 1 no, 2 I don't really care.
Hang in there: "Have you ever been involved in school drama?" 4 yes, 1 no. (I have too. To the one person who said no, YOU ARE SO DARN LUCKY)
2nd to Last: "Would you be ok if FunMath was discontinued as of June 20th, 2026?" 6 no, 1 yes. (I was considering it, okay? Don't worry, after that poll I'm gonna keep it running)
And lastly: "Do you view EK's Rants?" 4 yes, 1 what are EK's rants? (Thank you so much for reading!)
Okay, thank you so much for reading! It means a lot to me the attention that this has gotten, and trust me, FunMath is getting the same updates it's always gotten, PLUS this! FunMath isn't being updated any less because of "EK's Rants". I just love writing rants. And that's really what it is.
"Raise a glass to freedom" -Hamilton reference
Let's raise the glass to freedom and cheers,
EK
Greetings fellow humans, how are you doing? I hope you're doing well — because why would I wish anything else on you?
Anyway, today’s rant is about something we all deal with: everybody wants to be understood, but almost no one actually listens. I’ve noticed this not just in our school or with people my age, but honestly in almost every interaction I’ve ever had.
I think it starts right here.
That point right there. The period. Technically a point. (.)
Point proven.
ANYWAYS — it starts when people talk just to respond, not to understand. If that doesn’t make sense, here’s an example: You ask your friend what they did over the weekend, they tell you, you immediately forget, and then you tell your story because that’s what you were really waiting for. And don’t worry, I do it too sometimes. But that’s where the whole mess begins.
Then comes the drama. Most people don’t want solutions — they want validation. They want to feel heard. And that’s why conflicts explode so fast. Add assumptions on top of that and it gets even worse. We assume what someone meant before asking. Or we decide who someone is before ever talking to them. Then we wonder why everything feels like chaos.
The solution? Shockingly simple: listen.
Actually listen.
It’s rare because it takes effort, but don’t let that stop you. Imagine if everyone listened even 20% more — the world would be a better place. Being understood shouldn’t feel like a luxury, but for a lot of people, it does. Especially in middle school, where everyone is either talking about themselves or defending themselves, and no one’s really hearing each other.
So next time you’re in a conversation, try listening — really listening. Next time they bring something up and you remember it, your friendship will actually grow.
Maybe then we can finally begin to hear…
Cheers,
EK
(Okay, that last line was a stretch, but let me have it.)
Hey everyone-today I want to talk about the importance of being in the moment. I was scrolling through YouTube, and since the algorithm knows WAY TOO MUCH about me, it knows that I'm an incredibly nostalgic person. Occasionally it gives me music, but slowed with reverb to give it a nostalgic effect. This time, I decided to scroll through the comments and one comment in particular stood out to me a lot. The comment read ""I can't wait to grow up" is the dumbest thing I've ever said". And that made me think.
I'm gonna try and lead you through my thought process with this quote. So far, has life gotten simpler or more complicated as you've gotten older? More complicated, right? And when you think about it, life right now compared to what our parents have and what we eventually will have to do is quite simple. When you're older, you have taxes, bills, jobs to keep, money that needs to be made, hopes and dreams that with each day seem closer and closer to becoming something that never became. Right now, you don't have any of that. You are the youngest you're ever going to be.
So next time you think that school sucks and that you just want to get out of there and get a job and life and family, think about how much more difficult it is to do all of that. And maybe, just maybe, you can appreciate where you are now.
Even though I'm not allowed to have alcoholic drinks...
Cheers,
EK
Hey everyone, I guess I'm back again because why not? I typically post once a week, but this time I was feeling like posting another one. Anyways, I'm here to talk today about "ragebaiting". (I know, I can't believe I'm posting a rant on this either.) Have you ever been annoyed by someone saying something annoying, or being annoying, or just being downright mean to you, and all of the sudden, when you confront them about it, they say something like "chill, I was just ragebaiting and you fell for it."? I don't know if it's happened to you, but it's been happening to me a lot lately. Which seems to be a problem.
Hear me out, if Kim Jong-un threatened to nuke the entire United States and then just when the United States was about to go to war with him he said "I was just ragebaiting", that would be rediculous, right? And although what's happening isn't nearly that big, it still is essentially the same thing. Being annoying, threatening, or downright awful to someone and then saying that you were ragebaiting isn't so-called "ragebaiting". It's an excuse. And it needs to end. Now. Oh my goodness I hate autocorrect. It keeps trying to change "ragebaiting" into "race baiting" lol! I don't even know what that is! Anyways, I just feel like it doesn't make sense.
Additionally, let's talk about something else. I don't know what to talk about, so maybe I'll talk about talking about me not knowing what to talk about. Well, that just took up two sentences. And that just took up a third. Okay, okay, I know this is getting boring, so let me make it a little more entertaining. Basically, I think all I'm trying to say is, be a nice person. It'll come back to you eventually. If you center yourself around hate, you're eventually going to be hated. And then you'll hate yourself for making yourself hateful and becoming hated. So just go out, and be a nice person. I PROMISE YOU it WILL come back to YOU.
Anyways, until next time, raise your glasses and...
Cheers,
EK
Ciao! Thanks for tuning in again! I wanna talk to you about why being yourself matters. Oftentimes, especially in school environments, we feel pressured to be someone we're not, either due to societal norms, peers, or maybe something at home. And as if that was already hard enough, middle school is when we're figuring out exactly who we are, so it's really easy to get confused and either change drastically from who you are, or not change enough causing you to have the emotional stability of a 5 year old, none of which are good. Basically, I'm gonna try to explain to you what has helped me stay true to myself and hopefully I can help you out too.
For me, the top thing was probably this: a lot of times before I say something, I would think about it and ask myself this question. "Would I say this to a loved one?" This can be parents, an aunt, an uncle, a figure of a family member, or even a crush. Yes, you talk to each person differently, so it's important to not get too wrapped up in this concept, but I still think it's a good and helpful guide. I also think another helpful way to be yourself is to surround yourself with people you feel like you can be yourself around. People that aren't jerks, or really disliked by the majority of the grade, or just don't feel like your fit. When you're around people you don't like, you may want to try to fit in, and that may cause you to be less like yourself.
Okay, I don't really want to keep ranting on and on and on, so I'm gonna wrap this up. This rant was why. Not how. So why should you be yourself? Well, no one else can be like you. And I mean the real you. When you try to copy others, it makes you a worse version of them, but being yourself makes you the best version of you. Also, you'll always loose the comparison game. There's always gonna be someone "better" at something-but no one has your mix of thoughts, humor, and experiences. And that's what keeps this world interesting. YOUR quirks.
So go out today, and be yourself-it's the only thing in the world that you can keep forever.
Cheers,
EK
P.S. What if you could watch ANYTHING for free and UB? Funflix Pre-Alpha coming soon!
Hey there, it's EK again.
First things first, the amount of support that this page has been getting has been insane and above anything I ever thought possible, so thank you so much for reading!
But now, let's get something straight: being a "CEO" in middle school sounds cool until you actually are one. (Yes my PR Advisor recommended I do this)
People either think I'm joking, think I'm full of myself, or ask if I'm making millions of dollars (spoiler: I'm not). In reality, it's just me and a small team, a Chromebook, a half-functioning website editor, and a whole lot of stress about analytics.
Running FunMath isn't just picking games and making things "fun". It's managing rediculous drama, hearing complains like "Why is my favorite game blocked again?", and realizing that I'm basically the tech support, PR department, and janitor all in one.
Occasionally I wish I could just be a normal student and not have to worry about user counts dropping a whopping 25% overnight. But then I remember something: FunMath isn’t just a website — it’s my thing.
It’s the project that got me through boring classes, bad days, and awkward lunches. It’s my weird little corner of the internet that somehow matters.
So yeah, being a CEO in middle school is hard. It’s frustrating, exhausting, and honestly a little ridiculous.
But if that’s what it takes to keep FunMath alive — to keep giving people a break from everything else — then I’ll do it.
Because even if no one else gets it, I do.
And that’s enough.
See ya next rant!
EK
Hey everyone—this rant’s gonna be a long one, but I’ll try to keep it short.
You’ve probably noticed that I’ve changed a lot on FunMath over the last 24 hours, and I want to explain why.
As you know, I recently appointed V0RTEX as CEO while I stayed on as the owner. Don’t get me wrong—he’s done some great things for FunMath, and I appreciate his creativity. But after thinking about it, I realized something important: this is my company. I started it and I built it up from the ground. Why would I ever want to give that up?
At first, I thought people in my grade didn’t care about FunMath anymore, but it turns out they still do—and they weren’t happy about the CEO change. Honestly, neither was I. I thought passing the torch to someone from a younger grade would help us grow, but it just didn’t feel right.
So I made the decision to come back as CEO. I missed the old FunMath—the energy, the creativity, and yes, even the chaos. Now, I’m bringing that all back. Some people might get mad, and that’s fine. I’ve always said a little drama keeps things interesting.
I’m proud to be your CEO again, and I’m excited for what’s next. Thank you for sticking with me through it all. FunMath is back—and better than ever.
Sincerely,
EK
CEO & Creator of FunMath
Greetings to whoever you are and I hope you're having a good day! If not, don't expect this to cheer you up. If you are, don't expect this to bring you down. It's just...I miss the old FunMath sometimes. Like when everybody in my grade used to play it. Or when I had a bunch of workers. Or when I battled HydrogenX and drove myself crazy over trying to get rid of them. Or when FunMath was popular. It still is, don't get me wrong, but it used to be a school-wide sensation making me popular too. And I just lowkey miss all of that. I often get very nostalgic, so this is a lot like me, however I don't know what changed. I think what happened was I lost track of what was important last year. Every single time our analytics were down, I would think it was something and try to make up some new feature that added no value to the website whatsoever. What I didn't think about were the games. There were literal days where I forgot that FunMath was a games website. But I just miss it all. Not just FunMath anymore, I think just my previous grade. It just had a vibe to me, a chill, cozy, sometimes really annoying, but overall good vibe. And I don't know why I'm writing this down, but I just am. I just feel that way. I wonder if anyone else feels the same. Do you miss the old FunMath? Anyways, have a great day today and see you again soon!
EK
Hey everyone, I'm back with yet ANOTHER rant. (Don't worry, I'm tired of them too) I just wanted to say thank you for your support with my rants so far-it means a lot to me that I can continue to be a part of FunMath!
Also, I understand there has a been a HUGE amount of backlash because of the CEO change, but guys, chill. If you don't like the change, I'm sorry, but that's how it is for now. Just please don't change your games website. You've probably been with us when we went down for a week, or when I went mentally insane on FunMath. All I'm asking you to do is be with us for a CEO change. It would mean the world to me.
Anyways, the main purpose of this Rant is the fact that we're finally HIRING! Yes, you heard that right. Just let us know on our Contact Form and I'll get back to you with some interview questions along with the acceptance of the former CEO, and then, if you're lucky and applicable, you could become the newest member of the ever-growing FunMath team! We're especially looking for members from the town of Leonia or Edgewater in 5th, 6th, or 7th grade, however we're open to people of any grade! As of recently, we have added one person to our team who has greatly contributed to the well being of FunMath. Welcome SugTheForehead to our team!
Anyways, until next time, happy gaming!
Good luck with your life,
EK
Hello there, fellow FunMath-ers. It’s me again — yes, that EK. You know, the guy who made this whole website instead of paying attention in math class.
Today, I’m laying down something very important: The Laws of FunMath. These aren’t just rules… these are the sacred, unspoken codes that keep this beautiful disaster of a website running.
If a game is blocked, you tell me. You don’t say, “Some games don’t work.” No, no, no. You say, “EK, specifically, the game where you shoot ducks while listening to dubstep is blocked.” Be precise. Be helpful. Don’t make me go on a digital scavenger hunt for your mystery game.
Look. I love you all. But no. We’ve been over this. It’s not happening. It will never happen. Roblox is like that one celebrity who doesn’t answer fan mail. Stop asking.
Every time you open FunMath, just remember — somewhere, EK is sitting at his Chromebook, sipping lukewarm water, trying to make sure your favorite game loads 0.2 seconds faster. Appreciate that.
If you think it’s mid, you clearly haven’t clicked enough buttons. Try pressing everything before you talk smack.
You think you’re funny suggesting “Add Fortnite pls”? No. You’re not. You’re the reason I drink metaphorical coffee and stay up fixing things that shouldn’t exist.
We’ve had enough chaos to power a telenovela. Let’s just play games and chill, alright?
That’s literally the whole point. Fun. Math. Okay, maybe not the math part, but definitely the fun part.
These laws are final. Unbreakable. (Unless I decide to change them next week.)
Now go forth, my friends, and remember: Play responsibly. Refresh often. Report blocked games.
See you next rant,
– EK
Alright, listen up. Forget Fortnite, forget Flappy Bird, forget whatever random TikTok sound is trending right now—middle school drama is the real battle royale. If you survive one day without someone rolling their eyes at you, congratulations, you just unlocked Legendary status.
Rule #1: If two people are fighting in the hallway, you have two choices. Either sprint away like you’ve just seen a ghost, or stand there pretending to tie your shoe while secretly watching the teacher in the hallway yelling at them to stop. Choose wisely, as this may affect the rest of your life.
Rule #2: The group chat is not your friend. It will betray you faster than a broken Chromebook during a Kahoot. Whatever you say in there WILL be screenshotted. Just assume the principal has already read it.
Rule #3: “I don’t want to start drama, but—” means they 100% want to start drama. Run.
Rule #4: Never, I repeat, NEVER say “calm down” to someone in the middle of an argument. That’s like pouring gasoline on a fire while handing them a lighter.
Rule #5: If someone says, “It’s not that deep,” it is absolutely that deep. Probably life-or-death deep. Prepare accordingly.
Rule #6: If someone says, “We need to talk,” what they really mean is, “Prepare for the most stressful 48 hours of your life.”
Rule #7: Drama in middle school travels faster than Wi-Fi. You’ll know about an argument in 2nd period before the people in it even know they’re in an argument.
And finally, Rule #8: The best way to survive middle school drama is simple—don’t feed it. Drama is basically a stray cat. If you give it attention, it will follow you home, live under your bed, and scratch you in your sleep. Ignore it, and maybe—just maybe—you’ll live to see the next grade without your name being in someone’s Notes app.
Good luck, soldiers. EK out.
Hello there! I’m back for my second rant. And no — this isn’t another PR stunt (Mojun Studios, Giochi Games, all that crap). I promise you, it’s not.
After leading FunMath for 3 years, I’ve made the hardest decision yet: I’ll be stepping down as CEO and passing the role to one of my closest friends, Vortex.
It’s honestly bittersweet. My eyes are literally tearing up as I write this. Every good thing that’s ever happened to me in middle school (except grades) has been because of FunMath.
And none of it would exist without you. Whoever you are, reading this right now — you’ve made FunMath what it is. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
But don’t worry, I’m not disappearing. I’ll still be here — making polls, Game of the Day, rants like this, and creating new projects to grow ThinkTank™ and The FunMath Company. I’ll always own FunMath, and I’ll always care about it. This change is just about giving it a fresh set of eyes, so it can grow even bigger than I could’ve ever imagined.
You are the best.
EK
Okay, I know what you're thinking. "This is gonna be long." And it probably will be.
It is a rant, after all.
You all probably know how FunMath began. If you don't, watch the "A FunMath Christmas" video on the FunMath YouTube Channel. (Linked on "The Center") One year ago, FunMath blew up when kids from another school started coming to my school and wanted a UB website just like FunMath. And over time, people began to realize that the person who created FunMath was me. Which made me blow up more than FunMath, especially since at the time I was competing with another website called "Hydrogen X", and was trying to be more relatable with the student body. But then, around 3rd marking period, my popularity started to skyrocket. Downwards. My popularity was going faster than a spaceship downwards, making it the biggest fall-off that I've ever seen. And I was the person falling off. And just like how it began, with my fall off, FunMath began falling off. Me and my team began seeing the largest decline in FunMath's analytics EVER.
And it only got worse.
I don't exactly know how it happened, but eventually I made it to summer. Our analytics never do well in summer, nobody uses it because there's no reason to use us. Just use Poki or Coolmathgames instead (thank you to those of you who did though). When we got back, analytics were never the same, but they did eventually level out at 170-190. They keep going down, then up, but overall, in the past year we have lost users rather than gained them.
And now, in this grade, there is no popular people yet. So now it's just not much. Don't get me wrong-150 users a week on average is still great-it's more than I ever could have imagined 2 years ago. But still, it isn't what it used to be.
Who knows though, maybe it can be better than what it used to be. Only god knows.
Well, that's my first rant. Be sure to let me know what you thought about it using the "Contact Us" page!
Have the best day ever,
EK
Hey FunMath community,
I don’t usually get personal on here. The last time I did, things got out of hand—and if you were there, you remember. But this time, I need to speak up. Because something’s not right.
Conflict happens. Friends argue. People drift. Families fight. We’re human. We mess up. That’s life. But there’s a difference between clashing and tearing each other apart.
Let me be real for a second.
Person A: “He pointed a knife at me at a camping trip.”
Person B: “He was right on top of me while I was trying to carve something with my pocket knife. He knew that it was dangerous yet he tried to get closer to me just to annoy me. I tried to do the 'Blood circle' which is when you spin around with a closed pocket knife to tell him to get away, yet I forgot to and what is Person A started to over react and start crying even though I did nothing to him”
Me: “Neither of you are getting banned from FunMath or Insider. Just get over it.”
That should’ve been the end of it. But it kept going.
Person A: “You’re just letting him get away with this?”
With no proof, no witnesses, what do you expect me to do? Pick sides? I’m not doing that. And honestly, both of you are exhausting.
And then another situation.
Person A: “Send the screenshots.”
Person B: “Please don’t.”
Me: “I’m staying out of it.”
Person A: “So you're on her side?”
That’s not how this works. That’s not how any of this should work.
Now ask yourself this:
How many fights have you had with friends? At least one.
Now how many of those did you start?
Be honest—probably most of them.
And if you say, “Well they were being mean,” think harder. Were they actually being cruel, or were they just not doing exactly what you wanted?
Sometimes we start fights because we want control. Because we feel hurt, and we want someone else to feel it too. But what does that solve?
A few months ago, something happened that tore me apart. I handled it poorly, and it still eats at me. I lost someone. And it was my fault. I won't go into details, but I reacted in a way that made things worse—for them, and for me. I let my emotions decide everything.
I won’t do that again.
So here I am, asking you: Why fight? What does it actually do?
This might just be a small gaming website. But FunMath is also a place where people come to escape all that. I know that. And I believe that even here, we can choose to do better. To be better. To change things.
It starts with us. With you. With how we treat each other.
Thank you for being here.

Hey there everyone! Let's take a quick look at last month's analytics report.
Last month, we had a low number of growth and even users in general, but we can likely credit this to spring break, so I'm not particularly worried about that. So far for May, our growth has been steady and we haven't been losing any users, however, we haven't seen the dramatic growth that we like to see.
What's next? We're planning a whole new advertisement campaign. That's right-buses, billboards, YouTube, and anywhere else you can think of we're planning to get ads on. How are we gonna get this money? Don't worry, I always find a way...just kidding! I have some money saved up that I can use for an ad campaign. Once again, we might not be doing this, as it costs a lot and since we're not making any money off of FunMath, we won't make back that money. (At least not from FunMath). However, if you like the idea, be sure to let us know on the Contact Form!
That's all for this month. Have fun!
Happy Gaming,
EK, CEO of FunMath

Hey everyone,
EK here. Just wanted to let y'all know that we won't be updating FunMath from Saturday, April 12th to Monday, April 21st because that's our School's spring break and I don't want to be working on FunMath during that. Just like you, I need a break too! If you are from another school district, rest assured, FunMath will be staying operational, however our Game of the Day and Poll of the Day will not be updated along with any of our websites. Also, there might be a major update or two if I get bored during the break, and that might require a short downtime. If this happens, FunMath will be replaced with a "We'll be right back" page, and trust me, we will! Aside from that, have a happy spring break and I'll see y'all on the 21st!
Thanks,
EK
To provide a more optimized and less cluttery user experience, we're gonna be making some important changes to FunMath and how we operate.
Firstly, let's talk about all of the "FunMath Tools". The tools are honestly a bunch of clunky features on FunMath that are confusing and really not necessary. However, there are some users that love using these features and we don't want to take that experience away from them. Therefore, we will be moving most of the tools to their own new websites. These will be under The FunMath Company. We might also be renaming the "Tools" page to "Extras" or something of the sort, so stay tuned!
Secondly, when you visit FunMath for the first time, it sometimes can be a little bit of an overwhelming experience, so along with removing extra features, we're planning easier help and contact options for FunMath users. You might even see a beginner tutorial to learn the basics of FunMath.
Lastly, we'll be adding more games to FunMath. It's been a surprising long time since we added new games to FunMath. Instead, we've been working on updating games and adding unnecessary new features to FunMath. FunMath is a games website, not a tools website, and from now on, we're gonna do our best to keep it that way.
That's all-stay tuned for more information as we start to implement these features into our user experience! Thanks for choosing FunMath as your premier gaming website!
Thanks,
EK
Hello FunMath Community,
Over the past few months, I feel that FunMath has drifted away from what it was meant to be, and I take full responsibility for that. I want to address a few key issues and the steps I’m taking to improve the platform:
"Ban Threats" – I realize that making threats about banning users was childish and uncalled for. Moving forward, bans will only be issued for violations of our Terms of Service (linked in the footer) and not for personal conflicts. That being said, I ask that when I request something to stop, it’s because it goes against the spirit of FunMath, and I hope you respect that.
"Drama on the News & Updates Page" – Recently, the News & Updates page became a source of unnecessary drama rather than a way to inform users. This negativity has contributed to FunMath becoming something it was never meant to be. Because of this, I have removed the page entirely. Important updates that directly impact FunMath will now appear in the announcement banner instead.
"Too Much Clutter" – A recent survey showed that many of you feel FunMath has become overwhelming with too many extra features. I agree, and to improve your experience, I’ve streamlined the homepage by moving FunMath Tools, Collections, and Links to a separate "Tools" page. This way, the focus remains on what FunMath is really about—games.
I acknowledge that my past decisions haven't always been the best, and I will continue working to make FunMath a better place for all of you. Whether you choose to keep using FunMath or not, I sincerely appreciate you being part of this journey.
Thank you for being here.
Sincerely,
EK
Hello FunMath Fam,
Let’s take a look at the FunMath December Analytics Report!
First off, a huge thank you to everyone who helped us reach over 200 users! This has been a dream of mine for over a year, and it’s all thanks to your incredible support. Next stop—300 users! Let’s make it happen together.
While our analytics have been thriving overall, we’ve noticed a slight dip in the past week. Sharing the site with friends and family would be a tremendous help—it makes a bigger impact than you might realize.
We’re also hard at work with keeping our proxies updated to give you uninterrupted gaming. However, finding reliable links can be a challenge, and they often get blocked quickly. Your patience and loyalty mean the world to us as we work tirelessly to ensure a seamless experience.
Lastly, our website will take a short pause from updates over winter break so we can enjoy time with family and friends. If you notice any games not working during this time, don’t hesitate to let us know—we’ll do our best to address it before the break ends.
Thank you once again for being a part of FunMath. Your support is what keeps us going!
Best regards,
EK
Introducing The FunMath Cares Foundation—a heartfelt initiative created by the team here at FunMath! Our mission goes beyond providing games and entertainment; we’re committed to making a real difference in the world. Through this foundation, we aim to turn everyday actions into impactful contributions.
When you interact with designated links or advertisements on our website, you activate a system that generates funds at no extra cost to you. Every month, 100% of these funds are donated to charitable organizations that you help select through community surveys. Whether it’s supporting hunger relief, funding medical research, or aiding disaster recovery efforts, your clicks help make it happen.
With The FunMath Cares Foundation, we’re combining fun and purpose, proving that even small actions can create big change. Let’s work together to game for good and bring hope to those in need—one click at a time.
Thanks,
EK
Hey there, FunMath Fam!
You know the saying "a new year, a new me"? Well, how about "a new year, a new FunMath"? We’ve been working hard over the break to bring you some exciting new features that are all about enhancing your FunMath experience.
Ads With a Purpose
Yes, we’ve added ads—but not just for any reason. Every ad you see helps fund the FunMath Cares Foundation, which donates 100% of its proceeds to a different charity each month. We’ve thoughtfully placed these ads to stay out of your way, so you can keep gaming uninterrupted, knowing you’re helping make a difference.
Introducing FunMath Radio
We’ve taken your favorite instrumental study mix to the next level with FunMath Radio! Now, you can enjoy a variety of mixes by genre or artist, and even request your favorite songs to be added. It’s our way of making sure you have the perfect soundtrack while you game or study.
More Games, More Fun
We’ve added even more games to keep things fresh, and fixed any that weren’t quite up to par. If you spot any issues, just let us know—we’re always here to make your experience the best it can be.
Thanks for being part of the FunMath journey. As we celebrate almost two years of fun, we’re excited to keep growing and delivering the best for you. Keep gaming, and remember, the fun is just getting started!
Thank you,
EK
Hey everyone!
I’m thrilled to announce the dawn of a new era for FunMath as we approach our 2nd anniversary! That’s right—in just a few days, we’ll be celebrating 2 amazing years of FunMath and 3 years of our parent company, ThinkTank™. To mark this milestone, we’re rolling out some exciting updates designed to make your gaming experience better than ever.
Let’s address one of the biggest challenges on FunMath: navigation. Right now, finding your favorite games can be a bit confusing since it’s just a big list of names with no context. That’s about to change! We’re introducing sleek, interactive icons for each game. When you hover over the image, the game’s name will appear, making it much easier to find what you’re looking for.
But that’s just the start. We’re also fixing games, refreshing the website with a bold new color scheme, and reworking the layout to make everything smoother and easier to navigate.
When will these updates roll out? You’ll start noticing small changes day by day as FunMath transforms into the futuristic, modern gaming hub we’ve always envisioned.
Thank you for your continued support and for being part of this incredible journey. Here’s to making FunMath bigger, better, and more fun than ever!
Sincerely,
EK
Welcome Back, FunMath Users!
After more than two weeks of downtime due to a false malware/spam report, FunMath is finally back! This marks the longest outage we've ever experienced, and while we're thrilled to return, we're still working behind the scenes to restore everything to normal. Please bear with us as game updates may be slower than usual during this transition.
We also want to address the "RIP FunMath" message that appeared on our old sites. At the time, we were on the verge of shutting down completely—until, ironically, the website was reinstated that very night. Unfortunately, we can’t take that message down yet, as the old site has also been reported, restricting our access. But to be clear:
🚨 FunMath is NOT shutting down. 🚨
It is still owned and operated by ThinkTank™ and EK, and we are here to stay!
That said, we’ve lost a significant number of users due to the takedown. If you know anyone who switched to sites like useclassplay, Galaxia Gaming, or HydrogenX, please help spread the word that FunMath is back!
We also want to acknowledge HydrogenX for stepping up and helping us during this crisis. Their support went beyond what we ever expected, and because of that, we will no longer compete with them. This is the last time we’ll mention choosing FunMath over HydrogenX—moving forward, we’re focusing on our own community.
To everyone who stuck with us—your support has been incredible, and the positive energy surrounding FunMath means the world. Thank you!
Finally, a huge shoutout to the people who make FunMath possible:
StudentHuman2
Cheese
Adventures of Bob
Maximumkaos
Without them, FunMath wouldn’t be what it is today. These are the true MVPs keeping FunMath alive!
Thank you all,
EK
Hey FunMath Community,
For over two weeks, our analytics have been declining, and it’s time to address it. What was once 350 users has dropped to 149—and it's still falling.
We’ve had dips before and always found a way to recover, but I won’t sugarcoat it—this is the worst decline I’ve seen in my three years running ThinkTank™. So, let’s talk about the reasons people say they’ve stopped using FunMath.
🔴 “The games are blocked.”
Games do occasionally get blocked, and we might not catch it before you do. That’s okay. But what’s not okay is when I ask, “Which games?” and get, “I don’t know, some of them.” FunMath has hundreds of games, and I can’t check them all at once. If a game isn’t working, let us know the specific game via our Contact Form, and we’ll check and update it within 1–2 business days. Plus, every month, I manually check every single game to fix any that are down. Some games are currently unavailable because we haven’t found a replacement yet, but believe me, they’re on my list.
🎮 “It doesn’t have enough games.”
Right now, one of our biggest competitors, useclassplay, has 95 games. FunMath has 120. We always take game requests through our Contact Form, and if there’s a game you want, let us know—we’ll try to add it.
So far, we haven’t received criticism on any of FunMath’s other features. But if things continue this way, we might have to shut the site down. Maintaining FunMath takes a ton of effort, and if users keep declining, it won’t be sustainable.
That’s why I’m launching #SaveFunMath. If you love FunMath, now’s the time to spread the word. Let’s turn this around together.
Thanks for sticking with us,
EK
Lately, I’ve been hearing the question, “When’s the next update?” Let me clear that up—our website is updated all the time, even if it’s not always obvious! We’re constantly fixing games, improving performance, adding small but handy features, and sharing posts like this one. These ongoing updates are just as important as the big ones, like adding AI or Proxies, which happen occasionally. So, while you might not always see the changes, know that FunMath is always evolving. Thank you for being a part of FunMath!
Sincerely,
EK
Hello,
I wanted to bring to your attention an issue regarding the use of a website originally developed exclusively for FunMath. It has come to my attention that certain elements, including game links, are being used on another platform that appears to be using our proprietary content without authorization. This action suggests that the creator of that platform has accessed and potentially copied resources directly from FunMath.
As the owner of FunMath, I take great pride in the original work we put into creating a safe and engaging gaming environment. I trust that all parties involved will respect intellectual property rights and the integrity of the work we’ve created.
We are taking the necessary steps to address this situation, and I encourage open dialogue if there are any misunderstandings or miscommunications regarding this matter. We remain committed to providing the best possible experience for our users and ensuring the originality of our content.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
EK

When I started my first unblocked games website, Unblocked, back in 5th grade, I never imagined it would do well. But to my surprise, it quickly spread throughout my entire class, attracting around 20 users a week. After Unblocked got blocked, I created Unblocked+, which unfortunately met the same fate at the beginning of 6th grade.
That’s when everything changed. Three days into 6th grade, I was sitting at lunch when inspiration struck. I realized that Math Playground had many unblocked games labeled as “educational,” even though they weren’t. With this in mind, I tested a bold idea. I renamed Unblocked+ to MathFun—and it worked. It stayed unblocked. Intrigued, I created a brand-new site called FunMath, and alongside it, I developed "The GitHub Method" to unblock even more games.
Switching classes became an opportunity to share the site with more users, and the response was incredible. Halfway through the school year, we hit 100 users—a moment I’ll never forget. For the longest time, our numbers hovered just shy of 200, so close yet so far.
But today, everything has changed. Thanks to our newest feature, the FunMath Proxy, users are at an all-time high. We’ve done it. Not just 201 or 202, but 238 users!
Thank you so much for choosing FunMath. Your support means the world to me, and I promise to keep bringing you the best unblocked games experience possible.
Sincerely,
EK
Hello FunMath Community!
Let’s dive into our November analytics! This month, we’re excited to report that 198 people have used FunMath, with 30 users transitioning over to ArcadiaX. Even with some competition from HydrogenX, our numbers remain strong and continue to grow each day!
For those of you encouraging others to switch over to HydrogenX, I ask you to pause and reconsider. Take a look at our site and theirs. Consider the intentions behind each—HydrogenX was born out of rivalry, whereas FunMath was built to provide a fun and engaging experience for students looking for a break from their routines.
When I first launched FunMath back in 6th grade, I often checked the analytics whenever I was feeling down; seeing how many people enjoyed the site truly lifted my spirits. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for choosing FunMath. No matter where my path leads, this site and this community will always hold a special place in my heart.
With gratitude,
EK
