Fundaprep ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Fundaprep mobile application ("App") available on Google Play. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google OAuth.
We collect a randomly generated device identifier (Device ID) to associate your session and preferences with your device. We do not collect your phone number, IMEI, or hardware serial number.
If you grant notification permission, we store an Expo push token linked to your Device ID. This token is used solely to deliver in-app notifications from us. We do not share push tokens with advertisers.
We collect data about your quiz activity, including which exams you attempt, answers you submit, scores, time spent, and attempt history. This data is used to generate your results and analysis.
If you use the App without creating an account, we create an anonymous guest session linked to your Device ID. Guest data may be merged with your account if you later register.
We may log server-side request metadata (timestamps, error logs) to maintain performance and debug issues. We do not log personally identifiable request content beyond what is necessary.
We use the information collected to:
Create and manage your account
Authenticate your identity securely
Deliver quizzes, save your progress, and generate analysis
Send push notifications about new content or updates (only if you grant permission)
Improve quiz quality and fix issues you report
Respond to your support requests
Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
Used to deliver push notifications to Android devices. Push tokens are transmitted to Expo's servers when you grant notification permission.

Used as an optional sign-in method. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email with us.

Our servers are hosted on standard cloud infrastructure. Your data is stored on secured servers and is not accessible to the public.
We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels in the App.
The App may request permission to send push notifications. If granted, we use your Expo push token to send:
New exam or content announcements
Reminders (if applicable)
Important account or platform updates
You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings:
Settings → Apps → Fundaprep → Notifications
Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to use the App.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
With service providers listed in Section 4, strictly to operate the App
If required by law (court order or government request)
To protect rights and safety (fraud prevention, security issues)
Account data is retained as long as your account is active
Guest session data is retained for 90 days from last activity, then deleted
Push tokens are retained until uninstall, permission removal, or deletion request

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If such data is identified, it will be deleted promptly.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

We use industry-standard security practices including:

While no system is completely secure, we continuously improve our safeguards.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App means acceptance of the updated policy.
