GA HOUSES 141
Room House Town
There are two living rooms, three wet area, five bedrooms, two kitchens, a guest room, a gallery, a storage room, a japanese style room, eight gardens, a well, two terraces in this house and these spaces are engaged by forty eight windows and thirty doors.
Generally, a house is a collection of different rooms, or, in other words, a residential area is the collection of endless repeat of rooms. the collection of innumerable rooms, the people beyond number. As number of people be more, the number of colors be more. When I imagine that the colorful town which is mixing of these colors at living room and bedroom, I feel that the border of room defines the realm for the people rather than the outline of architecture.
In this house, to surrounding road, I naturally put the room. And I drawn the subtle difference of angle of site. Then the incredible movement that can’t be happened on the grid occurs such as a curl place, a diagonal open view, a continuity of crossing the garden. If sun shines, the courtyard would be the field, if it rains, It would be the waterfall that separate each rooms, if greens are flourished, it would be the forest. The changing world merge into here and the area and distance of family change.
The family is the collection of man as well. Even in a house, we need individual boundary to separate us. The relationship between people can be more diverse, if it could be waved instead be fixed. Not only human but the dogs running in the garden, the whale painted on the wall, the wooden statues placed at the bedroom and even the sunlight shining through the interior space are residents of this house.
Today, which colors this house would be?
