Digital Teaching Portfolio
My name is Shea Fuhrman and welcome to my digital teaching portfolio. On this website, you will find my resume, course materials for a hypothetical English first-year composition course, and lesson plans for individual class periods. Below you can find a copy of my teaching philosophy and a little bit about myself.
I grew up in Shenandoah, Iowa, and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2013 and I am currently pursuing my Master's of Arts in English from the University of Nebraska at Kearney hopefully to be completed in 2022. I have been teaching high school English and History classes since 2015.
Currently, I teach sophomore and senior English at Hillsborough High School in Hillsborough New Jersey. I live in Montgomery, New Jersey with my wife Ashley, a professor at Rutgers University and a practicing BCBA in moderating severe behavior, my 4-year-old son Strider and 1-year-old son Kai.
