We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in the FuelSplit mobile application (the "App").
FuelSplit is designed to be a 100% offline application.
No Server Storage: We do not run external databases, web servers, or cloud storage systems.
No Personal Data Harvesting: We do not collect, transmit, upload, or sell your name, profile details, travel buddy information, fuel logs, calculations, or receipt/trip photos.
No Account Creation: You do not need to create an account or sign in to use this App.
All data you input into the App is stored strictly on your physical mobile device. This includes:
Your profile name, selected avatar icon, default currency, and default efficiency settings.
Names of travel buddies you manually create.
Fuel station names, prices, and fuel logs you enter.
History of trip splits (including total distances, costs, and split shares).
Image paths of receipts or photos picked from your device gallery.
This local data is stored within the App's secure private directory on your device. You can clear this data at any time by clearing the App's storage cache through your device settings, or by deleting travel history inside the App.
Because the App does not connect to the internet:
No third-party analytics trackers, advertising networks, or social media SDKs are integrated into the App.
The App does not share any data with third parties.
The App may request the following permissions on your device:
Photo Library / Gallery Access: Only requested when you choose to attach a receipt or memory photo to a trip split. Images selected remain on your device and are never uploaded to any external server.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since the App is offline, we recommend reviewing this policy page periodically for any updates. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
