I see everyone is excited for beat saber, but have any of you played Fruit Ninja. Judt played it last night and it is amazing. Love the controls. Wondering if anyone else has played fruit ninja and which one do you think is better.

Trying to enjoy retirements after a life of adventure, the Fruit Ninja is forced to return to battle when the Sherbert Shogun arrives. The two battle as the Fruit Ninja slices through various types of fruit. Not wanting to make this easy, the Sherbert Shogun begins throwing bombs in addition to fruit. This is still no match to the Fruit Ninja and eventually the Sherbert Shogun is exploded by his own bombs. Instead of killing him, the Fruit Ninja spares his life on the condition that the Sherbert Shogun clean all of the fruit debris. As the two calm down after the battle, another challenger appears in the form of the Wegetable Warlord. After she taught the Fruit Ninja, he charges her with his blade.

You are still as quick as ever, Fruit Ninja!

Sherbet Shogun! You will pay for killing my father!

And you will die the same way he did beneath my mountain of evil fruit!Lemons from the sky!

Aiming at our guy, Fruit Ninja!

Hey! Rotten Fruit Ninja! Cower before me, the Mighty Wegetable Warlord! Come get your butt kicked, you fruit-licking loser! I'll make coleslaw out of your sorry bum! Your sword is as dull as a moldy onion and your fruit smells like baby wipes!

I'm not a gamer but when I do play a game, I like them short, simple and sweet. Mario Kart, Fruit Ninja, these are my kind of games. Minimal learning curve, just swipe the fruit or press the button to go. I have enough complicated problems to debug and decipher in my normal life without having to "entertain" myself with a game that's a complicated, infinitely complex puzzle. I want something that gives me a short break from thinking.

This isn't really that much of a surprise to me since Apple helpfully also deletes all of your downloaded music without telling you when doing the same thing. I'm helpfully reminded of this about three minutes after takeoff on every single flight when I find out that I have no music to listen to except for the half a dozen songs I bought on iTunes pre-iPhone a decade and a half ago.

An even easier solution would be to warn users when they sign out that doing this will delete all of their downloaded music, so that people know to go re-download it. Or they could just keep letting us find out our music and games are gone just after takeoff on our 17 hour flights. Until now, I'll be stuck listening to that old DRM-free Avril Lavigne song on repeat I bought back when Steve Jobs was still alive on every flight.

Based to an original dubstep song written by local musicians Scott & Brendo, the video reached 10 million views in five days. After 10 days, the video has over 15.5 million views with mentions from College Humor, Devour, MSN, CBS, Red Bull, the Huffington Post, Mashable, and YouTube.

The video stars actor Christian Busath who served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City. Busath attended Brigham Young University-Idaho and played William Barfee during a nine month national tour with the Broadway musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee from 2008-2009.

As the name suggests, Beat Saber tasks players with using virtual lightsabers to smash through colored blocks to the beat of music. It sounds simple enough - after all, you've only got two hands - but as seen in the teaser above, things are a bit more complicated as you must do so directionally (each block has an arrow indicating the direction in which it must be sliced).

The game, in development since 2016, has no official ties to Star Wars and as the developer highlights, all of the music is handcrafted in-house. It can be played in short sessions or for many hours via career mode.

The song begins with the refrain, "Fruit Ninja, like the Danube cuts in half. The Margit Island clitoris, a bridge as a body ornament. Fruit ninja, Fruit Ninja, everything explodes. The juice is flowing, you're cutting everywhere." These lines evoke the idea of cutting through obstacles and breaking conventions, symbolized by the act of slicing fruit in the popular video game Fruit Ninja. It suggests the desire to break free from societal constraints and embrace a more adventurous and spontaneous lifestyle.

In the first verse, the lyrics mention Metro Boomin, a well-known music producer, as a symbol of influence and inspiration. The artist reflects on the idea of being brave enough to try new things and seek personal growth. There are references to various cultures and substances, alluding to a diverse and adventurous lifestyle. The artist also expresses a sense of longing for someone, waiting for them at a specific location, implying a yearning for connection and intimacy amidst the chaos of city life.

In zen mode there are no bombs, no lives, and it only lasts for 90 seconds. The goal of this mode is the same as classic mode; get the highest number of points possible. After you run out of lives or your 90 seconds are up, sensei offers a fruit fact for you to take with you as you continue on in your path of slicing fruit. Selecting Feint at the main menu takes you to your Feint account where you can check the leaderboards, see your achievements, what games you have, and who your friends are.

Graphics: The graphics are very smooth and there is no lag during any part of the game. The different blades all cut fruit cleanly which is great for every ninja out there, and the multiple backgrounds are enjoyable to look at, especially with fruit spattered on it. Also the way you navigate through the menu is very clever and fits the game perfectly.

Sounds: The background music plays only during the menu selection, and is very stereotypical ninja music, which fits perfectly and is very enjoyable to listen to. During the game the music fades out and you are left with just the sound of your blade cutting defenseless fruit.

Overall: This game is very addicting and fun to play for either 5 minutes or 5 hours. The controls are not overwhelming and the graphics are smooth and enjoyable. The sound effects add to the style of the game perfectly and give you the feeling that you actually are a ninja that hates fruit. Top that off with OpenFeint integration, aachievements and a leaderboard and Halfbrick has made themselves a winner not just for the iPhone/iPad but now Android as well.

Fruit Ninja VR 2 takes the classic arcade VR experience to incredible new heights. Packed full of gorgeous areas to explore, never before seen fruit-slicing techniques, and juicy new ways to interact with the environment and other ninjas around the globe!Blades & MusicSlash your way through hand-crafted levels. Slice fruit to the rhythm of the music, fend off the flying fruit machines and test your reflexes in whack-a-fruit!

Each level begins with a map (a 2D area) with some number of cells (objects that bounce off the sides of the map and each other) on it, as well as other objects such as static & spinning barriers and speed boosters. The aim of each level is to reduce the area of the map below 10% (hence the name) of its original area. The player reduces the map area by slicing off sections fruit-ninja style, but they must be careful to not slice off any cells, as this is how a level is failed. Slicing other objects off is not a fail condition, and is often a good strategy.

There is also another side of 10%. This is slowly revealed to the player as various game progress points are reached. It focuses on the hidden; the story behind the game - the other reason for the name 10%.

The game also has no audio. This is mostly because I rarely play games with game sound on, and especially rarely for the sort of game (hyper casual) that the main part of 10% is. I think this is true for most people; everyone I asked said they also mute game sound for hyper casual games, although admittedly this sample of ~10 sixth formers is likely not very representative. However, suitable music and sound effects could also significantly increase the player's immersion in the game, which could make the scenes, and the last non-main-game scene especially, much more powerful. ff782bc1db
