Welcome to Front line Officer Training: Introduction to Nuclear Security
The purpose of this course is to provide nuclear security familiarization training to Front Line Officers working for Customs Administrations in the U.S. and Canada. Customs Officers will learn key terms and definitions commonly encountered in nuclear security, and they will learn foundational concepts about radiation and radiation detection directly applicable to site operations. This course is a mandatory prerequisite for field training activities involving radioactive sources.

This training course is divided into 3 days.
Each day, you will be guided through the material and you will be required to complete the associated learning activities before 4:00pm (EST).
Each day, there will be a mandatory online synchronous meeting at 4:00pm (EST)
