About me!
About me!
Like most kids born in the era of portable personal cameras I've grown up around photography and being photographed, but the connection I feel to it most is because of my mom.
In the 90s, my mom ran a studio by the name of Creative Photos alongside being a cosmetologist. She did family, portrait and every other type of photo you could think of, including rodeo! I grew up watching her drive and ambition to run her own business and have always been inspired by her.
During my Junior year of high school I signed up for a class called Intro To Photography, (Shout out Mr. Eric Adams) during that time I learned the methods required of photography. I got to learn how to develop film using chemical manipulation.
Moving onto my senior year I moved on from photography to journalism, there I helped direct, edit, and produce the schools news program "The Hive". I enjoyed my time with my fellow students coming up with ideas for news stories happening around the school, from tackling the hard issues to making funny light-hearted videos of school events.
