Frizz Forecast: Hair Weather — Privacy Policy

This app is built to respect your privacy. We do not sell your personal data, and
your content stays on your device. This policy explains the limited data the app uses.
INFORMATION THE APP USES
- your approximate or precise location (used only to fetch the local weather — dew point, humidity, and temperature — that drives your hair frizz forecast, from Open-Meteo). The app does not use a camera or microphone.
- an optional hair diary and hair-type setting that you may choose to keep. Any hair ratings and settings you enter are stored on your device only and are never uploaded to us.
- anonymous diagnostics and crash reports (via Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics) to keep the app stable.
- an advertising identifier and related data used by Google AdMob to show ads. On iOS, the app asks for your permission via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before any tracking, and uses Google's UMP consent flow to honor GDPR/EEA choices. You can decline tracking and the app keeps working with non-personalized ads.
HOW IT IS USED
Weather (dew point, humidity, temperature, wind, and precipitation) is requested from
Open-Meteo using your location, and the frizz forecast is computed on your device. Your
hair diary, hair type, and settings are stored on your device only. We use the data above
only to provide the app's features, to keep the app stable, and (with your consent) to
show ads. We do not build advertising profiles ourselves and we do not upload your content
to our servers.
DATA RETENTION & YOUR CONTROL
Settings and content you create are stored on your device and are removed when you
delete the app. You can revoke location or tracking permissions at any time in the iOS
Settings app; the app will continue to work with reduced features (for example, showing
sample weather when location is unavailable).
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The app may use: Open-Meteo (weather data), Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics),
and Google AdMob (ads). Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
CHILDREN
This app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal
information from children.
