THE TROMBONEMAGIC SHOW

Elias Faingersh is a graduate of both Malmö Musikhögskola and Manhattan School of Music. His unique style of composition and performance (genre cross-over, dramatization of music, masterful employment of live electronics) distinguish him from any other artist. His critically acclaimed show "Trombone Magic" was performed in the Berlin Philharmonic, at the Congress Hall in Riga, at the "Lucerne Festival" in Switzerland and the "ArtGenda" Festival in Hamburg, at the Festival of Contemporary Music in Gdansk; the show was shown on SVT, and on Latvian, Russian, Israeli TV.

Named “Europe’s golden trombone” by the critics, Elias Faingersh had performed in front of the European royalty, in front of prime ministers and presidents of the US, England, France and many other countries. In 2005 he was named Sweden's best musician of the year. His music plays in more than 50 theaters all around Scandinavia, in movies and TV and radio shows.

Elias' work of using music as a powerful theatrical element had resulted in a number of pioneering, groundbreaking works: "The Ugly Duckling", performed at the Royal Danish Opera for H.C. Andersson's 200th anniversary in front of all of the European royalty (later shown on DK1); ”Hamlet-Drama for Trombone and Orchestra” (co-written with V. Borisova-Olas) premiered with the Malmo Symphony Orchestra, was shown on SVT a number of times and became an international hit, performed at such venues as the Kroneborg Castle in Helsinor, the Trondheim Philharmonic, the Novosibirsk Philharmonic and at the GogolFest in Kiev; ”Romeo Dreaming” with ”Kroumata” performed in Stockholm and Malmo and was shown on SVT.

Since the creation of Teater KEF in 2012, Elias had continued to develop his craft and artistic concepts, creating both solo shows and the show "Morfar" (in collaboration with Teater InSite). Teater KEF's performances had participated in dozens of international festivals in Europe, Asia and the Middle East and won an array of prices, including (but not limited to): Grand-Prix for the best performance in St. Petersburg (Russia) and in Peja (Kosovo), best actor in Bitola (Macedonia) and best interactive performance in Hannover (Germany). In November, 2018 the show “A Solo From the Pit” ran Off-Broadway (New York). In Sweden Teater KEF performed at such venues as Palladium and Bastionen in Malmö and Stadsteatern in Stockholm.

Under 2019 Elias participated in Orlando Festival in Florida US with his one man show ”The Soundtrack Of my Life”, the performance has earned him ”Patrons Award” and a five stars review at ”Orlando Sentinel”. Performance in of his ”Solo from The Pit” at London festival, five stars at ”Theater in London”. Same year his show for kinds ”A Journey to the Land of Sounds” had premier at ”Barnens Scen” i Malmö as well as at Victoria Theater also in Malmö. From its premier in November 2019 to the Mars 2020 the show was played more than dosen times, ”Journey to the Land of Sounds” is on the ”Musik i Syds Unga” katalog for 2020-2021 season. In the beginning of 2020 Elias performed his show ”TROMBONEMAGIC” at a festival in Kazan, Russia. ”SOLO FROM THE PIT” and ”HAMLET -DRAMA FOR TROMBONE AND ORCHESTRA”in Petrozavodsk, Karelia. ”TROMBONEMAGIC” in SideBar in New Orleans and ”SOLO FROM THE PIT” in Barens, Luisiana, US. His performance at Barnes College happen on the March 14th 2020 and was live streamed because of amount of audience restrictions and was viewed by more than 8000 people.
