The 2025 Annual Booksale held in June was a great success!
Friends raised nearly $2,000 that will go to the Willington Library's yearly programming.
This year, following the weekend book sale, Friends and the library hosted a 'Get to Know Your Library' event for Pre-K through 5th graders in Hall Memorial and Center schools.
Students toured the library, received a library card, and were able to visit the book sale and take home a bag of free books to kick off their summer reading.
Book costs:
Hard covers: $2.00
Soft covers: $1.00
Buy a Friends of the Willington Public Library reusable bag for $20 and fill it up for no additional cost.
Info for book dealers: EARLY BIRD ENTRANCE!
Book dealers early entrance: For a $10 fee at the door, book dealers will be allowed early entry from 8am to 9am on Saturday, June 7th.
Volunteer information:
Volunteers are needed to help sort books. Books can be sorted anytime the library is open. Please feel free to inquire at the library when you have time available to sort.
