Why discuss the Bible?

As Billy Graham well summarized, "The Word of God is the only real authority we have. His Word sheds light on human nature, world problems, and human suffering. But beyond that, it clearly reveals the way to God."

Discussing the Bible with a group of friends can give you lasting joy as you discover your identity, purpose, and the best ways to live from the Author of life himself.

If you have never read the Bible before, don't worry! Our discussion will have people from all backgrounds -- some people who've never heard anything about the Bible and some who know a lot, some Christian and some non-Christian, and everything in between. Whatever your background, our hope is to provide a fun, comfortable place for us to grow in friendship and see what the Bible says. We would love for you to join us once a week to come together, catch up, eat some snacks, and talk through a Bible passage!

If you are new to the Bible and to the idea of following Jesus, please consider attending Saturday Night Home Gathering, which provides basic information about the Christian faith, along with great food and community. For more details, contact Jane Zhao at janezhao@ku.edu

If you desire to participate in Bible study and practice English at the same time, please consider Sunday Night Bible Reading with two retired local couples, Gregg & Terrie Bridgens, and Chuck & Susan Thomas, who have helped international students to investigate the life of Jesus from the Bible and other interesting topics for nine years.

Time: Sunday (most weeks) 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

location: 3024 Flint Drive. A ride can be provided.
