Frequently asked questions:
Q. Do you have any available gerbils?
A. Almost all of the time, the answer is yes!
Q. How much are your gerbils?
A. The adoption fee is $25 for a single, $50 for a pair, $65 for a trio (the third gerbil is discounted to $15). Gerbils six months of age or older are $15. Gerbils being purchased as breeders are $30. Retired breeding gerbils being purchased as pets are $10. (We feel that these are fair prices for the quality and friendly natures of our gerbils.)
Q. Where are you located?
A. In the beautiful New Market, Tennessee.
Q. Do you ship gerbils?
A. We don't ship gerbils, but we do work with a small animal transporter who travels all over the country (see Transportation page)!
Q. How much does transport cost?
A. That depends on what size carrier you will need. The cost to rent a carrier from the transporter is included in the transportation cost. A small carrier is $30, a medium is $45, and a large is $60. We will go over all of the details about transport and carrier sizes with you when you contact us about transportation.
Q. Do I need to bring something to bring my gerbils home in?
A. Yes! Whether you are picking up gerbils from us, or are meeting the transporter to pick them up, you need to bring a chew and escape proof carrier to bring them home.
A. Are boys or girls better pets?
Q. We don't believe that one gender is better than the other. You can see more about males vs females on our More About Gerbils page.
