Email address — used to create and sign in to your account (Firebase Authentication).
Pantry data & favorites — items you add, edit, or delete, and recipes you save.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, messages, payment info, or device IDs. We do not show ads.
Provide core app features: sign-in, syncing pantry items and recipe favorites across devices.
Maintain basic account state and troubleshoot issues.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Firebase (Google Cloud): Authentication and Cloud Firestore. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and encrypted at rest by Firebase.
Internet — to sync with Firebase and fetch recipes.
Notifications (optional) — to alert you about expiring items. You can deny or disable at any time in system settings.
Your pantry and favorites remain until you delete them or request account deletion.
Export/Delete data: Email us at from the account’s email and we’ll export or delete your data.
Account deletion: Request via email now. An in-app deletion option is planned.
FreshKeeper is intended for users 13+ and is not directed to children.
Your data may be processed and stored by Firebase on servers located outside your country.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, where required, notify you in-app.
