Freeware TMS as a tool for prescriptive analysis of logistics

IT solutions such, as my Freeware TMS for last mile planning and control, open up opportunities for you to do prescriptive analysis - finding and understanding the answer to the question "What should I do with my logistics system and its resources in order to save or improve efficiency?"

So, for example, if you use outsource or use vehicle leasing, you can model the operation of your logistics system, analyze the utilization (see screenshot below) or the average flight time and make appropriate decisions: change the types of vehicles or their numbers, terms of contracts with performers, etc. There is possibility for automate this process: put business logic rules into IT-solution and program reactions to conditions confirmed by calculations.

Such an analysis in my Freeware TMS can be executed with using built-in reporting tools and iterative calculations (changing parameters in an Excel workbook). But this is a low level of automation.

And as the developer of Freeware TMS, I could not build a universal prescriptive modeling function into the free entry-level version, because each company has its own business unique and specific needs.
