Free and Simple Budgeting is a grocery list and household budgeting app for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Your account is your Apple ID
You sign in with the Apple ID you already use for iCloud. We never see your password, and we don't create a separate account for you.
Your list and budget stay in your iCloud
Your shopping list, stores, budget, income and expenses are stored in your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. We don't run a server, and we can't see, access or sell this data.
Households
If you invite people to your household, they can see and edit that household's list and budget, and you can see their changes. Invites are sent by you, through Apple's sharing sheet. You can remove people, or leave a household, at any time in Settings → Household members.
Advertising
The iPhone and iPad versions show ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers, approximate location, and information about ad views and taps in order to show and measure ads. The app asks your permission before any tracking (Apple's App Tracking Transparency), and asks for consent where the law requires it (for example in the EU, the UK and some US states). You can change your choices in the app under Settings → Privacy & ad choices, or in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. The Mac version has no ads.
Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Children
The app isn't directed at children under 13.
Deleting your data
Leave or stop sharing any household in Settings → Household members, then delete the app's data in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage (on a Mac: System Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage).
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
