In reply to Elder's comment: "Removing the installer package won't remove the plugin", I just wanted to clarify that the pre-processing scripts of flashplugin-installer package, does remove the plugin, as long as you take care of marking it for Complete Removal or use "purge" action, as both the answers recommends.

Hi, I got in touch with Microsoft and the technician said that two years ago, Adobe announced the end of Flash to give developers time to switch to other technologies like HTML5. He also said the Flash player had now been removed from all Windows, Apple Mac, iOS, and Android devices and cannot be installed again.
