I have a similar problem and I have a shapefile that contains numerous overlapping features. In ArcMap I was able to use the 'sort' function to order all of the features in my shapefile by area/size so that the largest polygons were drawn on the bottom and the smallest polygons were drawn on top. When I bring the shapefile into ArcGIS Online, it maintains the order of the features in the attribute table, but it applies an arbitrary drawing order to those features - so ArcGIS Online is not drawing features according to the order they appear in the attribute table like ArcMap does. Additionally, it does not appear possible to use symbol level drawing in ArcGIS Online, which in ArcMap I had been using as an additional step to control the display of features.

CDFW staff are only available to help with and correct draw application errors Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but due to heavy call volumes in the final days leading up to the draw deadline, reaching a representative may be challenging and you may miss out on this year's drawing if last minute application errors are made. tag_hash_107

Q: I am applying in the deer drawing and have the maximum number of points. If I apply as a party with my hunting partner who does not have any points, are my chances of getting a tag less than if I applied alone?

Q: The deer drawing statistics indicate a lower point value than our party's point value was drawn for the premium deer tag that we applied for, so why did we not get drawn for the tag?

The picture below shows three views of a figure from the front, right, and top. The entire figure uses a total of seven cubes. Can you construct the figure using the isometric drawing tool? (Be sure to use cubes of the proper color, too.)

Creating series of diagrams to show a progression or sequence can help keep the drawing cleaner and easier to read. To do this use the "download as png" and "download as pdf" buttons for each progression or sequence of a drill you want to save. If you wish to provide a description for each sequence then make sure you update the desciption field and use the "download pdf" button. Do not refresh the browser as this will remove the current drawing and you will need to start over.

In this online class, explore the fundamentals of drawing by focusing on line, gesture, shading, texture, composition, proportion, and perspective. Learn a variety of techniques to improve observational skills while working creatively from an array of still life and personal objects.

Designed by artists, for artists, the Online Drawing Development Year is an innovative new course that has been devised to allow arts graduates and those with a developing studio practice, to benefit from live online drawing tuition and a structured critical dialogue with tutors, mentors, and peers over the course of three terms.

Created in response to the success of our new online public courses and the increasing demand for an online course taught at postgraduate level, this programme will provide students with structure, sustained critical engagement and the development of drawing skills, all in dialogue with their existing artistic practice. This is a flexible, part-time course and students will be able to curate their own programme of courses each term, allowing for a balance between work, studio time and other commitments. Delivered online, the course also suits those who live outside of London and abroad or have specific access needs.

The Online Drawing Development Year is a three-term remote learning course that features a structured series of drawing courses, lectures, mentoring sessions and one-to-one tutorials with practising artists that will complement and develop your own studio practice.

As an alumni of the Online Drawing Development Year you will also receive an ongoing discount of 50% on online short courses through our Concessions Scheme and have the opportunity to apply to the Dumfries House Artist Residency programme.

You can read more about past student experiences on our blog or come along to one of our online open days where you can hear more about the course, meet tutors and alumni, and participate in a Q&A.

Places are offered through an application process. Applicants will usually have completed a BA degree in a creative subject, but this is not essential; demonstration of a strong studio practice, and a commitment to drawing and study at postgraduate level, will also be taken into account.

To apply for this course applicants need to fill in the online application form which includes writing a 500 word statement telling us about your current practice, and why you think the Online Drawing Development Year is right for you; and upload a digital portfolio of 20 images, 10 of which must be drawings:

Many people want to know where to begin with my drawing lessons. I suggest starting with Line Drawing Parts One through Four and Drawing From Life With Expressive Line. These five lessons will give you a basic set of drawing skills. The rest of the lessons will fill in some gaps, and none need to be learned in any particular order.

Below, you will find my Graphite Pencil Drawing Lessons. These are more advanced offerings. In them, I discuss my style of pencil drawing. However, I try to write them so that anyone, from the beginner to the experienced artist, can enjoy them.

Collaborative drawing, sounds fun.

Maybe making a room for random artists (not neccesarily people you know) up to 4, to draw together. (Sounds hard but interesting).

Can also be use for artists to teach each other art.

I started with an animated gif cretor, and since then, the have expanded to include an emoji art maker, a photo collage maker, a selection of engaging games, and even more. This is your free online animation maker, packed with innovative possibilities.

Excellent course! I love the sequential structure and attention to details and how well David explains and demonstrates what he is teaching. I have taken other art classes and have some experience, so I initially started with the Portrait Drawing. And it is such a good course, that I decided that I did not want to miss anything from the basics skills that are fundamental to really becoming a masterful artist. David is an outstanding artist and teacher. He goes step by step, explaining and showing the how to of everything and gives plenty of practice materials to develop the skills. I am really impressed. I feel I have found what I was looking for. I am enjoying what I am learning, and I am already looking forward to more online courses. Keep them coming!

Your drawing basics has been a wonderful experience for me. I am a medical illustrator, classical fine artist and instructor. I am always telling my students to continue practicing, searching, learning and growing. One will never know it all but one can always attempt to learn more. Thanks for putting together such a thorough learning program.

Additional items are also useful. A neutral value scale can serve as a reference for tuning value carefully. And for the observational drawing exercises, a collection of spheres, cylinders and cubes in differnt shades of gray will allow you to work "from life" for those parts of the course.

Youth Duck-Hunting Opportunities

Two more AGFC-owned WMAs offer special permit-based waterfowl hunts for youth hunters and their mentors. The Conway George Tract of Sheffield Nelson Dagmar WMA and the west unit of Freddie Black Choctaw Island WMA all reserve special opportunities through online drawings for young guns to get a taste of duck hunting without the frantic races for prime locations seen on some other WMAs. Youth hunt permits for both locations are good for the entire weekend the applicant draws, and all-day hunting is allowed for the entire hunt party (which may include four people, with only one mentor per youth hunter).

I believe that drawing should be fun and free from too many rules! I also believe that the only way to get better at drawing is to draw as much as you can. This class has been made so I can give you ideas of paths to explore to make drawing fun again.

As this is a drawing class, we will mostly use dry media such as graphite, markers or charcoal, a few classes will allow you to use ink as well.If you want to explore more of a specific medium you have the freedom to do so in most of the courses.

You can choose what rhythm works best for you as the class is self paced. If you complete a unit every week, the entire class will last 6 months. If you complete a unit every 2 weeks, the class will last 1 year. I recommend you do at least a painting or drawing every two weeks to get into the habit of creating Art regularly.

I am enjoying the drawing class very much. It has really pushed me to try new methods and actually enjoy the experience. I also liked having an online drawing experience. I have never done that and it opened a whole new facet of creating to me.

I already completed the 26 week class and the Flowers from imagination class but my drawing skills are not wonderful and I feel taking this class may help. I enjoy the different classes as Sandrine is so very helpful with her feedback.

I was using online bing map as background. But after a day, when I opened the same file, map doesn't show up, but bing logo still on the corner. Coordinate, scale etc. everything is correct. It seems like some graphic issue. Do you know any solution for this? 17dc91bb1f
