on www.mozilla.org only the current Release is served as you would have to go out of way to a page that serves Beta builds to then download them. Mozilla would never force people to use one of the Beta builds for a version instead of Release.

* The Nightly soft freeze is typically during the week prior to merge day. During this period high-risk patches should avoid landing until after the Nightly version bump lands on mozilla-central on merge day.

I have had this same issue before, the way I use to solve this type of problems is using windows control panel then look for uninstall programs and uninstall the version you do not use. Caution: before doing this make sure you have a backup of your profile, then restart the computer. Reinstall the desired version of FF from mozilla.org and import your bookmarks and profile or sign in to synchronise to the mozilla foundation sync service.

You then manually create a launcher on desktop and use the firefox command with the -P -no-remote switch in the launcher. Or you could just go to the folder you created "firefox57" first and run it, see if it opens.

Using only firefox.exe is "fraught with peril". It will open the Default Profile and should the "Default" accidentally get changed by the user problems can arise if / when the Profile is opened in the wrong version of Firefox.

I typically use Chrome but I do have firefox and just updated it and tested it out and it does seem to be working for me, which I know isn't helpful for you, but does rule it not in fact working on any firefox browser. Are you running any extensions or something that could be interfering with it?

While searching for a default Firefox installation on the system, geckodriver used the Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin executable instead of the binary specified in the app bundle's info.plist file. This behavior resulted in a malfunction due to a regression in Firefox, particularly affecting the Firefox 121 release.

For releases of Firefox 89.0 and earlier Marionette will only be enabled in

Marionette will only be enabled in GeckoView based applications when the

"Sites preferences" are the culprit. Wasted 45min of my life finding how to fix it despite all the kb/support.mozilla tricks which does not solve your issue nor did mine. I don't know what triggers this issue, but several of my websites started to go pear-shaped in a few weeks only affecting me and only firefox.

Lets get back to the old firefox that was amazing, the 3.6.Nowadays is full of crap for us developers, and sysadmins.I have tons of sites in intranet that cannot have a valid ssl, this is a major deal. I cannot download "deb" files because its a threat, i cannot this and cannot that... why? I am a power user i know what to do whit, why should I (we) be treated like the rest of the users?

Ive used firefox on my linux machine frequently for almost 3 years now. and am an avid watcher of youtube. Yet time and time again this issue pops up where i open a video to watch it and it just doesnt play. its just a black screen where the video should be and nothing fixes the issue. Ive cleared cash and cookies, refreshed firefox, reloaded the page, tried several videos and nothing works. And then it just.. starts working again?? until it stops without warning. This doesnt happen anywhere else. it doesnt even happen in firefox private mode. I disable my adblocker and nothing changes (even tho i have premium so it shouldnt FUCKING matter.) sigh I really need some help, suggestions, or even just a clue as to what the problem is.

Firefox has a debugging protocol that allows scripts to drive its DevTools from remotely. There are libraries such as node-firefox and foxdriver that use this protocol to remotely debug websites, fetch their logs, etc. For security reasons, the remote debugging protocol is not enabled by default, but can be enabled in preferences or from the command line:

Note: In order for ASCIIsvg to work in older versions of SVG-enabled Mozilla browsers, one still needs to installthe AdobeSVG viewer 3.01 and copy the two files NPSVG3.dll, NPSVG3.zip fromc:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\SVG Viewer 3.0\Pluginsto the Mozilla or Firefox plugin folder (usuallyc:\Program Files\mozilla.org\Mozilla\bin\plugins or c:\ProgramFiles\Mozilla Firefox\plugins).
