I'm trying to implement a system of retrying ajax requests that fail for a temporary reason. In my case, it is about retrying requests that failed with a 401 status code because the session has expired, after calling a refresh webservice that revives the session.

Once test retries are enabled, tests can be configured to have X number of retryattempts. For example, if test retries has been configured with 2 retryattempts, Cypress will retry tests up to 2 additional times (for a total of 3attempts) before potentially being marked as a failed test.

When a test retries, Cypress will continue to take screenshots for each failedattempt or cy.screenshot() and suffix each newscreenshot with (attempt n), corresponding to the current retry attemptnumber.

The problem is slowness of the retry process. The queue trigger reacts very slowly to retried transactions even. It takes several minutes to retry eventhough there is not any other job running and therefore the robot is vacant.

Well, the way of working I use is not very typical 

The transaction is realy just to trigger the job.

When the job fails it marks the trx as failed and finishes.

I expected that the queue trigger will fire immediately again to retry the job, but it is not

The fundamental problem with distributing state across services is that every call to an external service is an availability dice-roll. Developers can of course choose to ignore the problem in their code and assume every external dependency they call will always succeed. But if it's ignored, it means one of those down-stream dependencies could take the application down without warning. As a result, developers were forced to adapt their existing monolith-era code to add checks that guessed to see if an operation failed in the middle of a transaction. The retry operator in Combine will catch any errors that occur upstream and resubscribe to the pipeline so far. This means that any errors that occur above the retry will make it so we resubsribe to dataTaskPublisher.share(). In other words, the tryCatch that we have after dataTaskPublisher.share() will always receive the same error. So if the initial request failed due to being rate limitted and our retried request fails because we couldn't make a request, the tryCatch will still think we ran into a rate limit error and retry the request even though the logic in the tryCatch says we want to throw an error if we encountered something other than DataTaskError.rateLimitted or DataTaskError.serverBusy.

Quick question like, Lets we have setup retry attempt to 3 in Web activity. First 2 attempt iweb activity failed but in last attempt it make it successful. So it will run both success and failed scenario? I mean failed scenario (Activity 3) run 2 times and Success scenario (Activity 2) one time?

At any state if you receive a 4XX error from Amazon server, it most likely means that something was wrong with the input. You should NOT retry the same input. There are various steps you can take based on the specific 4XX response from the cloud. If you want to retry, then your code should inspect the problem, correct the input and then try the request with the new input.

However, as you will notice when you run the app, this will result in any failed request to be retried three times. This is not what we want - for example, we want any verification errors to bubble up to the view model. Instead, they will be captured by the retry operator as well.

In this article, we are going to use Apex to log the errors received from this new event and provide a means to review them in the Lightning Experience Utility Bar. The retryUntil() method returns the number of times the job should be retried. Restart the queue worker and and revisit the / route. This time, you'll see that the worker retries the job for only 2 seconds and then declares it failed.
