I have a question, Im working in a trance song and Im trying to mute the kick but keep active the sidechain (as you did in this tutorial) the issue is that I created the automation envelope to the master (selecting the kick track then right click in the volume knob, etc) and make averything as this image show -content/uploads/2011/08/Kick-Volume-To-Master-Envelope-Curve.jpg but volume never drop, do you have any idea why it dont drop? many thanks in advance.

Petri let me thank you first for your gorgeous help,

as i see, you like a lot to help people, this is what we have in common.

You seem to me a very positive person and this is the main reason to make a good music.

Thank you very very much again.

If i dont disturb you, i have this problem, i followoed all your instructions and the beat came the same, except the volume. My project, at fl studio, seems to be very loud, compared with yours.

Could you tell me please where is the problem ?

My keyboarder asked me to do some overdubs on some kind of trance music. He sqeezed a good sound out of his MIDI guitar, but wants a real guitar on it.

Since i am a rocker, i do not have the slightest idea of how to achieve this kind of metal wall of sound. Any suggestions where to start?

I do own the chimera pack.

here is my first try of recording a rammstein song. i did not eq or add effects in cubase, because if i do, they do not improve. sound fat right out of the box. not?

profiles are chimera 002 and one of the new rectifiers of Shain House . ATM free downloadable. good profiles!

any hints of improving the EQ section?

cheers

This is the story of my journey from electronic musician (as in a creator of electronic dance and trance music) to tech entrepreneur and what I learned along the way about people and communities. I made some good decisions, some bad ones, and some terrible and painfully expensive ones, but I learned many lessons. I think that what I learned applies to more businesses than just the music business, and hopefully to yours too.

As a 20-year-old, I was unhealthily obsessed with the spirit of the UK Free Party Movement, making electronic music and discovering cheap vintage music gear. I lived for the chance to own a Moog modular synth (preferably a Moog 55 with its walnut cabinet) and spent my time in my darkened bedroom listening to or making music. By 21 I had a degree in economics, and had turned down a career in finance, but scored a record deal with my favorite record label in the world. Life was good, I played to small sweaty clubs and made psy-trance for other people to listen to in their own darkened, UV lit bedrooms. But along the way, the world changed.

Continuing our run through some of today's most popular genres, this week, we're stepping into the euphoric world of trance. Born in the 1990s, this anthemic form of dance music has been a fixture in clubs ever since.

All the samples are supplied as 24-bit WAV files so can be imported directly into your DAW of choice. Because they're royalty-free, you're welcome to use them in your music in any way you like - all we ask is that you don't re-distribute them.

What happened to Trance Music? Well it kind of got diluted into many different sub genres of House. Sure you can find some hardcore trance artists out there keeping it real but if you want that perfect crossover sound that fills the clubs you'd best download some of these free Garageband trance loops.

Want that colossal progressive house sound? It's right at your finger tips and ready to be downloaded with these epic progressive house loops. With hooky chord structures and engaging melodies these samples are the ideal writing partner for any House music producer needing to get a jump on the competition.

Embarking on a musical journey doesn't always require hefty investments in software. The best free music-making software offers a gateway into audio and MIDI recording without the need for purchasing expensive software licenses. These platforms, surprisingly rich in features and tools, rival many aspects of their paid counterparts, making music production more accessible than ever.

The realm of music production is brimming with premium audio editors, each packed with an array of production tools for both essential sound work and creative endeavors. However, for those advancing in music production, the best free audio editor can be a game changer, providing an array of tools suitable for both beginners and seasoned professionals.

For those who seek open-source tools to rival to well-known software like Apple Logic Pro or the best Adobe Audition alternatives, our comprehensive roundup includes the best free music-making software, catering to a variety of needs and skill levels. These programs are carefully selected and tested to ensure they offer a robust set of features for creating music, whether you're recording your first single or producing an entire album.

In addition to the software itself, we also touch on the best cloud storage and best cloud backup options for safeguarding your creations. For hardware considerations, don't forget to check out our best laptop for music production and best audio PC pages to ensure you have a complete setup for your music production needs.

In the free music-making app, every section is scalable. So, you can adjust to suit your workflow and the bottom panel changes to display whichever parameters you've selected elsewhere on the screen.

When we tried out the music production software, we were prompted to create an account before download. After the initial installation, the app suggested it was running in demo mode. If this happens to you, don't worry - you just need to click 'Unlock' and re-enter your account details to get your hands on all the features you need to make music.

Apple GarageBand is easily the best free music-making software for Mac users - and it's powerful enough that, were it available outside the Apple ecosphere, it would take the number one slot. The app version even includes some features found in Apple Logic Pro.

Apple has done a very good job at creating the perfect gateway into free music production, offering a clear journey towards Apple's fully-functional, pro-level audio editor. We found the interface, which apes Logic, really helped the free music-composing software ease the transition to the more premium audio tool.

AmpliTube Custom Shop - a cut-down version of the premium AmpliTube - offers the best free software to make music if you're a guitarist. After all, this is a fully functional guitar rig modelling app.

The Custom Shop feature is a nice addition, offering gaming-style add-ons to expand your collection of amp models, stompboxes and cab sims. However, at this stage, the music-making software stops being free - although there is a 'try before you buy' preview. And you don't need them if you just want to make some music.

The big fun here is the way you can morph between sounds using a nifty sphere-like object at the center of the music-maker app. It's like a spider-web of musical creation as you connect and move beats to produce sounds as unique as SyndtSphere itself. But then, developer Klevgrand has certainly carved a name for itself with a slew of fine-sounding instruments featuring some rather esoteric interfaces.

Cakewalk may be a familiar name to veteran music producers. It was one of the first ever digital audio workstations, but its owner Gibson halted development. Luckily, cloud music creation platform BandLab snapped it up and has made it available to everyone.

Cakewalk is a complete music mixing package. It features everything you need to make music for free, with creative songwriting tools and instruments, advanced mixing and mastering tools, unlimited MIDI and audio tracks for your own recordings, and a full suite of editing tools. When we call it 'complete', we mean it. 0852c4b9a8
