So Trevor at technical support for Bitwarden suggested that I disable and re-enable all of the auto-fill services in the Bitwarden app. To my astonishment, that fixed the problem. Auto-fill now works with all the browsers I have tried on my Huawei.

I am having the same trouble as OP @chyron8472: Bitwarden only working with Chrome browser on my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S9+). I tried disabling then reenabling Auto-fill but that did not solve. Please share any other troubleshooting tips.

As an example, I've developed some applications that had to display HTML content, which contained either jquery-mobile, flash, javascript, YouTube embedded and so on. So I had a lot of problems with displaying this pages inside WebViews. Either they wouldn't get displayed at all, just blank, either the videos won't play and so on. And the strange thing is that they work properly if opened in the Browser installed on the phone. I had JavaScript enabled, I tried diffrent WebSettings, I had set the WebChromeClient and WebViewClient looking for javascript errors... but nothing worked.

still it does not load high resolution images properly which is being loaded perfectly well by the android browser.Only part of the image can be visible on the webview screen which appears fully on normal android browser. This behavior is observed with latest Android 4X SDK as well.Which means android default browser significantly tweaks the webkit/webview code to show any url

Hi. @Rebecca_McGrath. From my point of view, it seems that not all functions in the PC browser are in the Android app. For work, I use Asana most of the time on an 10" or larger Android tab. It would be nice to be able to use Asana as a browser on the Galaxy Tab. Can I ask to check once?

The steps differ slightly depending on the type of phone and web browser app you're using. Below, we'll go over how to clear this data for Google's Chrome browser (the default for many Android phones, like the Google Pixel line), Samsung's internet browser (often the default on the Galaxy phone series) and Mozilla's Firefox browser. You can also check out our separate guide on how to clear your cache on an iPhone web browser, in case you have a few Apple devices to tidy up, too.

You can delete your cookies and cache from within the Android version of Google Chrome by first tapping the More button in the top right corner of the browser, indicated by a column of three dots, then tapping History, then Clear browsing data. You can also access this from the Chrome Settings menu, tapping Privacy and Security and then Clear browsing data.

There are two different ways you can clear your Samsung Internet browser's cache and cookie data. You can clear from within the browser itself, or you can go through your phone's Settings app.

To clear while in the Samsung Internet browser app, first tap the Options button in the bottom right corner represented by three horizontal lines, then Settings; scroll down to and tap Personal Data, then tap Delete browsing data to get a menu of options to delete. You can clear your Browsing history, Cookies and site data, Cached images and files, Passwords and Autofill forms in any combination. After tapping Delete data, you'll then receive a prompt asking for you to confirm your choices before deleting.

Going through the browser app itself provides the most customization as to what you want to delete. If you want to access similar options from your phone's settings menu, open the Settings app and tap on Apps, then scroll down to and tap Samsung Internet and then Storage.

At the bottom of Storage, you get separate options to Clear cache and Clear data. Tapping Clear cache will immediately delete the cache, but Clear data brings up a prompt that warns you that all of the application's data will be deleted permanently, including files, settings, accounts and databases. While it doesn't specify cookies, this "going nuclear" approach should zap all remaining data, letting you restart the Samsung Internet browser as if it were brand-new.

Of the three browsers we're discussing here, Firefox gives you the most options under the Delete browsing data menu, allowing you to also delete any existing Open tabs, your Browsing history and site data, Site permissions and even your Downloads folder alongside Cookies and Cached images and files.

And Firefox has an additional option for those who never want to keep their browsing data after they're done using the app. Inside Settings is a Delete browsing data on quit option, which instructs Firefox to wipe any combination of these same settings every time you quit the application. It's a useful feature if you'd like to keep the browser tidy and, say, avoid accidentally handing off your browser history to someone who may have stolen or otherwise gained access to your phone.

Got a big phone and normal sized thumbs? No problem. Firefox for Android lets you move the search bar from the top to the bottom making it easier to use with one hand. You can also choose your own search engine within the browser, and set Firefox as your default browser if you want.

Tampermonkey or any other userscript manager can no longer be added to Firefox as of writing this answer. It was never even possible with Chrome. However, You can instead install actively maintained android firefox fork iceraven that supports extensions like tampermonkey, greasemonkey etc.

I cannot find the way for autofilling by 1Password on my Android 9 phone. I selected Autofill in 1Password app, but it does not work. I cannot find 1Password icon in Chrome browser on my Android 9 phone. How to install it on the phone?

The full domain helps 1Password to know exactly when to show you logins, though. I would recommend using our browser extension or app to save your logins so that the URLs get saved in them automatically. It's a much easier way to save logins, and that way 1Password is more easily able to fill them.

Thank you.

But the problem is that I cannot save my login in 1Password on my Android phone with 1Password installed.

When I follow the instruction:

"To save a login, sign in to your account on the website. 1Password will ask you to save your username and password. Click Save in 1Password."

the small window "Save in 1Password" does not actually show up.

So I thought that apart from 1Password app installed on my phone I need also Chrome browser extension to be installed on my phone.

I have ticked all 4 boxes in 1Password app:

@mbujar Thanks for getting back to me. If you're using 1Password on a computer as well as your Android device, it's easy to use the browser extension to save your Logins there. The browser extension doesn't work on Android so you won't be able to install it in Chrome and use it there. If you're just using Android, you'll only be prompted to save Logins using Autofill. In Chrome in particular, this requires the latest version of 1Password.

Brave is available as a fast, free, secure web browser for your mobile devices. Complete with a built-in ad blocker that prevents tracking, and optimized for mobile data and battery life savings. Get the Brave Browser (mobile) for Android or iOS.

I can run the browser on multiple apple devices(Ipad, Iphone & Ipod) and performance is fine. As soon as I use any android device it becomes basically not usable for simple things. The speed is just too slow over the browser.

EDIT: Newish android phones and tablets WITH Play Store should still be getting updates to WebView package so SHOULD do alright but there is a caveat there too that requires more explaining that really makes sense in context of this question.

This android device I have now has playstore I should have added.

So something specific about devices with playstore is an issue?

I am not that familiar with the mobile devices, we have been using the older handhelds on terminal server for a decade at least.

I have downloaded another browser and am viewing the developer tools on the device now. The network server responses are way higher on the mobile device and I can see the delays. For instance I am testing Pack Entry and PO find buffer on my computer is 12ms and 8ms but on the android it is 516ms and 486ms.

Connected to a macbook to view the developer tools for an Iphone. The network response to the phone was way faster than that to the android devices. We are talking 20ms compared to 500ms on one of the multiple calls using the same wireless network. Every network response was significantly faster on the Iphone.

Could be. Tested 4 Apple devices and 4 Android devices and its always the android devices that have the problem. Need to keep on testing and messing with this. I prefer to use the android devices, but worst case I can put a bluetooth scanner on the Iphone to get us along for a bit.

Looking at that kind of Latency difference JUST because its an android device is very weird. It might be your actual wireless. Is it just the Kinetic stuff that has a super high latency or does everything have high latency on the Android devices?

The web browser functionality appears to be broken in 4.25. A project running with a web browser widget in the editor or windows build runs fine. When launching same project on Oculus Quest 2 you get a black screen.
