YALSA, in partnership with the Chief Officers of State Library Agencies (COSLA), is implementing "Transforming Teen Services: a Train the Trainer Approach" from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2021. This effort brings together state library agency (SLA) youth consultants and front-line library staff for a robust training program. In the first year of the project a pilot cohort made up of SLA and front-line staff from AL, ME, MN, RI and WI received training and began facilitating learning for library staff in their states. In year two, 109 more SLA and front-line staff will be trained and they will then train others in their states.

I have decided to build a Vietnamese pronunciation trainer for myself and some other friends. Before I take the time to complete all the steps, I wanted to post this in case something like this already is out there. I've been searching for a while and haven't found it, but please let me know if you know a similar resource that already exists. Those of you familiar with the Fluent Forever method will know what I mean by a pronunciation trainer. It uses SRS and minimal pairs to help train us to distinguish between tough sounds - and tones!

So, this project is using a Particle Argon for its WiFi connectivity, I have pretty good WiFi coverage in the (2 acre) yard, so if I can connect to WiFi directly, that will be ideal. If not, I may be looking at a bluetooth mesh network with a repeater node or two. The thinking is to implement the remote activator via an http interface accessed from a smartphone, or any node on the home network really, but the phones are usually readily at hand.

Easterseals Project Action (ESPA) offers a comprehensive certification program for travel training instructors. Certified through the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) at the University of South Florida, the program provides travel trainers of all experience levels with the Certified Travel Training Instructor (ctti) credential. All credits are provided remotely by Easterseals Project Action through our comprehensive online learning portal. The program requires 60 credit hours of instruction plus a comprehensive online test and hands-on practicum.

Participants will be exposed to the best practices in equity, secondary traumatic stress, pedagogical skills, implementation and improvement science, knowledge and integration of NCTSN resources into practice, and trainer presence and self-advocacy.

Evette Bean, M.Ed., LPC, is trainer and consultant for the Missouri Academy for Child Trauma Studies and a FORECAST simulations facilitator, as well as one of the program developers for the Project ASSIST Mentorship Program for Underrepresented Professionals (AMP-UP). In addition, Evette is involved in trauma-informed schools work in both urban and rural settings. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, she provides individual psychotherapy and other clinical services for children and adolescents through CASGSL, serving children who have been exposed to various trauma, including sexual abuse, domestic violence, bullying and traumatic loss.

Hullo,

I am a beginner with Arduino and I would appreciate very much if you someone could evaluate item I need to project and help me to find best solution, please see following video link.

My original intention is to create something link this:

At Georgetown Law, the Center for Innovations in Community Safety's Active Bystandership for Law Enforcement (ABLE) project will draw upon Trainer technology in its work to build a police culture of active bystandership that prevents misconduct and mistakes and promotes officer wellness. Georgetown University will integrate Trainer technology to provide ABLE participants with a broader range of virtual interactive training scenarios and provide Georgetown and independent researchers a controlled setting for studying the impact of ABLE training on reducing policing harm.

The Culturally Relevant Computing Lab and National Training Institute on Race & Equity (NTIRE) at Morehouse College will study the impact of this technological training on law enforcement and community empathy, seeking to understand whether a similar training simulation could be designed to build positive relationships with Black adolescents and local officers. NTIRE will offer students of historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) opportunities to serve as co-facilitators in anti-bias trainings of police officers and as research assistants on projects designed to mitigate implicit and explicit bias in the criminal justice system.

Focus Groups are meetings to discuss the current ER training framework, its strengths and weaknesses, challenges, and options for action. Targeted to a wide spectrum of stakeholders in ER, Focus Groups aimed to obtain precise and specific opinions and recommendations in ER training, and to contribute to the community of practice and the project outcomes

In March and April 2023, the Immigrant Defense Project and the Surveillance Resistance Lab hosted a two-part train-the-trainer series about ICE surveillance, policing, and what to do during an encounter with ICE. The trainings are aimed to prepare advocates, organizers and allies to give Know Your Rights (KYR) information to clients and community members.

A Project is where all of the charts, data, and models logged from related runs are stored. Naming your project helps you organize your work and keep all the information about a single project in one place.

To add a run to a project simply set the WANDB_PROJECT environment variable to the name of your project. The WandbCallback will pick up this project name environment variable and use it when setting up your run.

Any Transformers Trainer you initialize from now on will upload models to your W&B project. The model checkpoints you log will be viewable through the Artifacts UI, and include the full model lineage (see an example model checkpoint in the UI here.

Note: Unlike the regular WandbCallback this custom callback needs to be added to the trainer after the Trainer is instantiated and not during initialization of the Trainer. This is because the Trainer instance is passed to the callback during initialization.

OCDE Project GLAD Agency Trainers are certified trainers working in their district or agency of employment. Renewal is required within 12 months of Certification and every three years thereafter to maintain active status and provide OCDE Project GLAD Foundations Training in their district or agency.

The RRP exists to facilitate placement of Thoroughbred ex-racehorses in second careers by increasing demand for them in equestrian sports and serving the farms, trainers, and organizations that transition them.

The VIRT2UE Train the Trainer program is aimed at researchers and educators from different disciplines who want to become trainers in Research Integrity. The training takes a virtue-based approach and supports participants in reflecting on their understanding of, and own positions towards, research integrity. In line with this, a strong focus is put on fostering reflecting on personal cases and experiences with the intention of building strong connections between theory and practice.

The concept for the novel simulation trainers began with Michael Pickett, MSN, APRN, PNP-BC, RediStik Project lead inventor, who has an interest in product development and learning innovative processes. Based on a needs assessment with frontline nurses in 2017, a need for more cost effective, realistic, and wearable simulation trainers was identified. Michael's goal was to make trainers he wished he had available as a new nurse over 20 years ago.

Thanks to all our key contributors and clinical leadership that have supported the RediStik Wearable Task Trainer project. Our partners have been instrumental in providing feedback on proof-of-concept development, supporting the new product pilots, and implementing the novel designs into daily use globally.

Technology and processes learned from the nurse driven RediStik Wearable Trainer Project led to collaboration with Michael Pickett (Innovation/design lead), Dr. Mazziotti (Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics, co-design and educational Lead) and Cole Burgman (ECMO Supervisor, co-design and educational lead) to create the RediStik ECMO Cannulation Trainer. ECMO cannulation is a high-risk low frequency surgical procedure. It was identified by the simulation center, surgery and the ECMO teams, that developing a novel trainer providing all procedural surgical steps for ECMO cannulation would be valuable for all those involved in the procedure. After eight iterations over several years the RediStik ECMO Cannulation Trainer is available globally via Sawbones.

More information about this project can be found in our publication in PLOS Computational Biology. We would like to thank all contributors to our Galaxy training materials, the Galaxy community for their constant support, and our funding sources:
