So im trying to look for some streams at the moment but no live channels or people I follow are showing up. But I know for a fact that some are actually streaming and when Igo to their channel I can watch the stream just fine. Is there a way I can fix this?

Was just wondering if there was any way of hiding deleted channels completely in the Live screen. I have patched in a load of moving lights and grouped them, so Mac 700s start at 701, 702 etc... and Mac 2ks start at 801, 802 etc..., and I have deleted all the channels in between. Whilst the tombstones are removed in the Live table, it still references the deleted channels which I don't need to see. Any way that these can be completely hidden in this view?

If you press and hold the [Flexi] key and press the {Patched} softkey that appears (below the CIA on Eos) your Live display will only show patched channels. You can also just keep pressing [Flexi] to cycle through the various views. Have a play, you'll see a whole load of useful views.

I have both a ROKU 3 and a ROKU Express in my home, connected to two different TVs. They are connected to the same router and then to my ISP (T-mobile Wireless WiFi). I have been using ROKU for quite a while, but two nights ago the vast majority of sub channels on the ROKU LIVE TV main channel just disappeared.

I was watching Modern Marvels at about 7PM on Feb 7th, when the screen served by the ROKU Express just went black. I waited a few minutes to see if it was a network connection, and then tried to change channels to another sub-channel on ROKU Live. Nothing. The channel guide worked and showed the channels, but I only saw a black or dark blue screen with the Channel info at the bottom of the screen. The remotes work fine and there was no power outage.

I tried some other main ROKU channels besides ROKU Live and some seemed to work, while others did not. I checked my router and ISP modem, but they were all normal, and even streaming content to my wife's phone. I went to the TV with the ROKU 3, and it was exactly the same as the ROKU express - some main ROKU channels worked, but most of the sub-channels on ROKU Live TV were dark. I also checked my separate Netflix and Amazon Prime streaming apps, which go directly to the main TV, and they were working fine.

I rebooted the ROKU device to see it that helped. Nothing changed. I then checked my ROKU account to see if anything had changed. I found that my credit card number needed to be updated, but I don't have any pay accounts on ROKU, so that should not have been a problem. I updated all the ROKU software on both devices, and Modern Marvels came back to life, as well as a few of the lower numbered sub-channels on ROKU Live, but the vast majority were still gone.

Today, after reading this thread, I deleted the Live TV on ROKU channel, restarted both ROKU devices, and re-installed it. I now have the following subchannels on Live TV: 116, 120. 123, 126, 129, 135, 138, 164, 142, 147, 281, 289, 293, 321, 332, 358, 386, 455, 469, 470, 1101, and 1103. All the rest are dark when selected from the Channel Guide.

Well, I thought that I had posted a similar problem a few minutes ago, but it does not appear to be anywhere here. But at least I have good news: I rebooted my router and ISP modem, and all the ROKU Live TV channels came back. Lesson learned - turn everything off, and then back on, and it will all work again.

We understand that you are facing an issue with the live TV on The Roku Channel. We apologized for the inconvenience this caused. We would like to know what went wrong so we can assist you further and fix the issue.

I've done all this more than once. Both my roku devices work to show youtube, netflix, etc., but NOT hallmark channel or Roku channel. The live acts like it's going but never does, and the actual movie says play but won't go to movie, just play pops back up. Today is Wed 4/19/23

We understand that you're having a problem with the live channels. We would be happy to look further into this issue, but we will need more details. Can you please provide us with the following information:

Then when I open YouTube TV, at the top of the Live tab, it says "You currently don't have any live channels. Browse all channels available on YouTube TV." However, below that the guide is there and I can watch any YouTube TV channel, including live channels.

I just had the same problem, none of my channels were showing up. Edited my epg guides and one of them no longer had a lineup selected. I selected a lineup and refreshed the guide and all my channels showed back up.

There is no way to tell the live guide to only display your favorites on iPhone live guide, so When you choose channels on the iPhone live guide and make them your favorites on the live guide, it creates thumbnails on the Home page with those channels only that you can click on and watch from there.

So, I have Hulu AND an antenna via HDHomeRun. When I lost the ability to watch live via TVE in channels channel list, I ALSO lost the ability to watch any of my local channels via HDHomeRun. When I logged into Hulu and checked my logins via Managed Devices, I did NOT see a TVE entry. So, I just rebooted my Channels DVR computer and waited like 15 minutes. Everything started working again.

My point here.... Why did my over the air channels stop working as well? My local antenna 5-1 channels displayed "Connection Lost Cable provider authentication failed" along with my hulu channels. I would assume that the local channels via antenna wouldn't be affected but they were.

Rescan of individual channels almost always now prompts the "login verification" email. Last weekend I deleted the source altogher and after 20-30 re-add attempts it worked. Clearly not working well at this point. I got it working on Sunday after it stopped altogther Friday and by the following Thursday I'm getting the error "login verificaiton" emails again.

I think we need to start making some comparisons to the other services that offer TVE. What service has a similar channel lineup and doesn't have this constant hassle? Does Channels DVR keep an updated table/spreadsheet on which services offer what channels?

YouTube TV is cable reimagined. We are a subscription streaming service that lets you watch live and on-demand TV from major broadcast and popular cable networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN, AMC, HGTV, TNT, and more.

We aim to provide an experience that is both intuitive and hassle-free for our members. We recommend an internet connection of at least 3 Mbps. With just a tap or a word, you can customize your live guide, record all episodes of your favorite show, and search for your favorite sports team.

Stream select live and on-demand content in 4K with the 4K Plus add-on, available at an extra monthly charge. This special features bundle also unlocks offline recordings for available content and unlimited streams at home.

To ascertain whether a channel is currently streaming live requires a simple match to see if the unique HTML tag is contained in the GET request results. Something like: if ($get_results =~ /$unique_html/) (Perl). Then, an API call can be made only to a channel ID that is actually streaming, in order to obtain the video ID of the stream.

If I get a match, it means the page is streaming. (Non-streaming channels don't contain this string.) Again, note the weird extra whitespace. I also escape all the quotation marks since I'm using Perl.

For example, if you check the channel_id UC7_YxT-KID8kRbqZo7MyscQ - link to this channel livestreaming - -ly7N-1Ce6Og/live, this channel will show if it is livestreaming, but, with its channel id UC4nprx9Vd84-ly7N-1Ce6Og - link to this channel livestreaming -, it will show his main page instead.

Adding to the answer by Bman70, I tried eliminating the need of making a costly search request after knowing that the channel is streaming live. I did this using two indicators in the HTML response from channels page who are streaming live.

However, there's a tradeoff. This method confuses a recently ended stream with currently live streams. A workaround for this issue is to get status of the videoId returned from Youtube API (costs a single unit from your quota).

I found youtube API to be very restrictive given the cost of search operation. Apparently the accepted answer did not work for me as I found the string on non live streams as well. Web scraping with aiohttp and beautifulsoup was not an option since the better indicators required javascript support. Hence I turned to selenium. I looked for the css selector

Live TV streaming services may offer different packages and add-ons for viewers, but you want to ensure you can watch your local channels along with cable networks and on-demand videos. Not every service provides access to local programming (like PBS, ABC or NBC), sports or channels you'd typically find on cable and satellite TV. Compare channel lineups before choosing.

If you want the best mix of live streaming and on-demand, Hulu Plus Live TV is it. Its channel selection may not be as robust as YouTube TV or Fubo, but it's almost there -- especially with the addition of PBS and Magnolia. Yet, it's Hulu's significant catalog of on-demand content that helps set it apart. Not only does the $77 service include Hulu Basic but also Disney Plus and ESPN Plus, plus an unlimited DVR. Hulu's exclusive titles such as The Bear, The Handmaid's Tale and Only Murders in the Building, plus its massive catalog of broadcast programming, grant it a content advantage no other service can match. Given that Hulu Plus Live TV offers you more with its live channels, it's the service to choose for live TV streaming. 0852c4b9a8
