It features perspectives from international organizations, national governments and young experts working in this area. Knowledge products are developed to support and encourage stakeholders to celebrate International Youth Day 2023 in their various contexts and roles.

The existence of international days predates the establishment of the United Nations, but the UN has embraced them as a powerful advocacy tool. We also mark other UN observances.

The briefing offers the public and members of the media access to the newest data available from the annual ECA-funded Open Doors Report on International Educational Exchange, published by the Institute of International Education (IIE). Report highlights will include survey results on international and U.S. student mobility, the top sending and receiving countries, and statistics on student demographics.

The Insurance Core Principles form the globally accepted framework for insurance supervision. ComFrame builds on the ICPs and focuses on the group-wide supervision of internationally active insurance groups. Alexandra Semma Tamayo has worked as a forensic anthropologist at the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences in Villavicencio, Colombia. Her multidisciplinary approach to the identification of missing persons from enforced disappearance has helped bring justice to the families in armed conflict contexts. As an international fellow, her research in fracture patterns observed in gunshot wounds will be extremely helpful in improving the accuracy in trauma interpretation when working with human-rights violations. 2351a5e196
