Yes I have tried running through the whole tutorial, saved the image, deleted the image. No option for resizing the box. Reloaded Photoshop. It's a strange one for sure. Really appreciate the feedback thanks

Royal pains in the butt @kglad. Thanks. Still no solution to the annoying tutorial problem. Now I have to deal with another bug which prevents LRC from opening an image in PS 25...but that's an issue for another thread. I guess I should roll back to v24.7 for that one. In the meantime, we just have to sit on our hands and wait for Adobe to fix all of these things
I uninstalled my photoshop, reinstalled it, and the toolbars were back. But as soon as that AI tutorial popped up, everything went missing again. So frustrating. Short of trying to remember what button is where, I can't figure out how to make the tutorial go away or how to get my toolbar back.

I have a high number of native Spanish speakers in my classes, and many of them are struggling to use these tutorials. I'm working on getting the directions given me for thier assignments etc translated into Spanish, but the tutorials themselves can't be simply be translated. I was hoping that someone might be aware of a Spanish language collection or series of tutorials that covers the same or mostly the same skills as the English ones above.

But I'm just going to show you really quickly how to do this. So we're going to type in set mat and we're going to grab that effect and we are going to drop it onto our duplicated footage. Now, what we want to do is we're going to pick one of the layers with the legs on it. In this case, I will pick my shadow layer. Now you can see there's just a little bit of an outline going on here. And this is correct, even though we put those effects, like the CC slant and the blur onto that layer set mat ignores all transforms and any effects that you've put onto a layer that you're pulling the alpha data from.

Theresa, thank you for the reply. I tried in the Help Menu - Hands on Tutorials... and after entered one of the tutorial got the message "couldn't open tutorial". I tried others tutorials and got the same message.
I have been experiencing a similar issue. I have a lab (Windows based for purposes of this conversation) and all of my students have access to the Creative Cloud and all of the apps. I have been using the initial Hands-On Tutorials (Help > Hands-On Tutorials...) and things were great for a week or so. As of November 15, 2021, I had several students who were no longer able to access these tutorials. Whenever they would access Help > Hands-On Tutorials... the Adobe window would open, but there would not be any of those tutorials. There were other tutorials that were available, but none in that window and none were the Hands-On variety.
Upon further exploration, we drilled down into the suspect directory and then watched as Photoshop started. As soon as we selected Hands-On tutorials, we noticed that four new files were created. These are created only once. We ran the tutorials again and the time stamp never changed on these files. Now, as to why this is happening and whether or not this is a clean solution, I can't say, but it is working.
The previous solution seemed to work for some students. If you discover that the Hands-On tutorials are simply not returning, the next solution was perhaps a bit stronger, but again, I'm in a lab, with students, and I cannot afford the time, nor seem to be able to find a person at Adobe to assist. So...the caveat is that while I am doing this fix and it is working for me, I always recommend that you test first. That having been said...here we go.
I am having terrible problems with the hands on tutorials too. They work when they want to. Sometimes they work, other times in part, it's hopeless. An incredible time waster. Surely Adobe can do better than this. I'm abandoning it and going to online tutorials by professional phorographers. So far, that has been far more efficient than stuffing around in Adobe learning ziltch. Poor effort Adobe. Very annoyed.

Post processing work after taking any photo is always a difficult task to do. But yes the professionals are not worried about this at any point. If the shots can be made perfect before taking the images that would be more worthy for me as I am not so much good at photoshop.
