I was having this error also. I found that elsewhere on the form I had some label 'for' attributes that did not match ids on the form inputs - seems like this might confuse datepicker too. Once I fixed those up, everything worked fine and the error went away. Take Andreas' advice (+1 for that!) and validate your forms - Chris Pederick's Web Developer Toolbar gives you an easy way to validate as you go.

In my case I was triggering the datepicker from a div against a hidden input field and getPos(a) was causing an undefined message on the variable "a". I experimented with moving the hidden input field outside of a div and that did the trick. Note that the input field was findable by jQuery no matter where it was, so that was not the problem - it was with positioning. Hope this helps someone else.

I've ran into this problem too, and i was 100% sure i did not use duplicate id.After some debugging i found out a reason - i was using DataTables mod, which duplicates contents of tfoot, thus creating exact copy of datepicker elements. And i had this datepicker inputs in tfoot row.

Finally, if I add the datepicker jquery code in an inline script tag just before the tag then it works, but this is not an option for me as I will be using the datepicker on textboxes created at runtime. At least if the datepicker code is in the external file, it will not throw an error at runtime.

A site I inherited a while back finally needed to be updated to a much more modern level including PHP version, MariaDB version and Wordpress version along with CiviCRM.Seen first in the LYBNTY report - the date range fields are simply dropdowns with entries like 'Yesterday', 'Last week', etc. but no ability to actually pick a date range.I have checked Access Control which all looks good (but I am administrator so should have all those already).Checked the header links for jquery and seems I have access to them.Is there a setting somewhere to turn jquery entities off/on? Or could I be missing a path even though the update was in place and not moved?Everything else seems to be working just fine.I might add that the Summary Fields extension is still quite old and is marked as needed an update. Could this have anything to do with this as in not being compatible with the 5.26 version of CiviCRM?I'm stumped here so any suggestions would be fantastic!

Never mind - all working now.I modified the CiviCRM Resource URL from the default that was in there of [civicrm.root]to be the full URL -content/plugins/civicrm/civicrm and the choice of 'Choose Date Range' showed up in the drop down giving the functionality needed.Or it is entirely possible that Choose Date Range was there the whole time and I just missed it. Been such a slog of updating this ancient site that that is entirely possible.Strangely, that jquery error is still showing up in the console, though. But I will look at that tomorrow.
