I would like to be able to give each tab i use the ability to have internet or not. So i can use one tab, and give it internet but other tabs that pop up, won't have internet as it would be off by default. Just have a check mark box on each tab. Checked would allow internet to function on that tab only. Any other tabs that pop up, wouldn't be able to display anything as no internet is connected to that tab. Good way to not let pop ups display or download anything.

I have been using Firefox on Ubuntu 18.04 for several weeks. I currently have firefox 67.0 (freshly updated). Since the update, firefox cannot connect to the internet anymore.The internet is working fine. I am writing this post from the Opera browser the I installed on Ubuntu 18.04 after the problems with Firefox.
I opened a regular instance of firefox again and it was still not working (obviously). I repeated the "Restart with Add-ons Disabled" but selected "Refresh Firefox" at the final step and it seems to have fixed the problem.

I assume you are still using the firewall's Interactive mode. If so, try this. Manually create a firewall rule, if one doesn't exist, to allow outbound communication with full directory location specification for firefox.exe . Move the new or existing rule temporarily to the top of the existing rule set. Can you now connect using Firefox?
