Hello everyone, i'm pretty new to MIT app inventor, but one thing i've noticed is that apps usually compile to a pretty outdated looking version of android. (I'm not sure which one but my guess is android froyo or gingerbread), and it causes the apps I make to crash frequently on newer devices, especially xiaomi ones, plus the old UI makes the entire app feel kind of outdated. I was wondering if it was possible to make the app compile to AT LEAST android 4.4 since it's not old as a fossil but it's still pretty widely used on devices, plus it may make the app not crash as often. (I may be mistaken though, since I do not get a popup saying "this app is for an older version of android", plus MIUI isn't the most stable thing ever so it's totally possible it's an issue on my (and my friend's) end)

But I just wanted to ask, I mean how could that hurt?

I have been hunting around for the afternoon to try to see if there is any way to install older versions of the Android platform-tools. I have tried via sdkmanager and by the older android version but all of them seem to always link to the latest version of platform-tools. I am trying to do this without Android Studio.

Is it at all possible you are providing an invalid password when attempting to open the database connection using the newer sqlcipher-android library? We found a regression where the SQLiteDatabaseCorruptException exception would be thrown with an invalid password. This will be fixed in the next public release.

As many people can't afford ipad or windows 10...actually the app is different in three system; Windows maximum features; apple ios moderately & ANDROID has the least features....I want to use windows features in android as it severely lacks in android, ......NEED THOSE FEATURES WITHIN 2 weeks!!!!! SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! I want the OneNote on Android to be improved so it becomes the same as that on a windows 10 computer.

4) Windows onenote to android syncing is good but Why the android to laptop onenote syncing is terribly bad??? Only in android version it's happening...not laptop...in laptop everything opening great..No syncing from android to laptop And it's showing WE CANT OPEN THIS PAGE.... That page is opening in laptop ....

5) Android has default multiple pdf reader app...ppt reader app word reader app....BUT WHY NOT ONENOTE READER APP......??? ONLY ONENOTE IS THERE IN THE app which can open onenote files....Should have more onenote reader app.....

As eg...pdf can be opened as xodo...3rd party app.. Google drive...onenote....scanner apps...etc...

there are many pdf opening apps for Android, but in case a onenote file DOWNLOADED FROM ONENOTE APP (in windows 10)...when I print as onenote file...it saves locally as ONETOC2 File....my complian is why there is no other onetoc opening app without onenote....

There is so much pdf opening, ppt word opening apps are there...why not onetoc2 opening???....it also should be treated as local file and to be edited and saved....isn't it???

So developers , do something to make samsung note app as onetoc file opener app....Samsung and Microsoft developer should work hand in hand

It's been 8 months ago..from when I have started this...I have contacted atleast 1000 of people here...by coming to CONTACT US ...telling issues..and THEY ARE TELLING THEY CANT DO...THEY WILL JUST TRY....because they probably don't use android onenote..but to my surprise I saw....I was losing my studies and wasting time here...truly speaking I have lost more than 50 days(IF I start to add hours I have spent here)..but nothing happened

Instead time waste....data waste and even loss of my studies...just due to a simple need.... so much time waste because of only 1 thing....WHERE ARE THE DEVELOPERS ..IF PRESENT...HOW TO CONTACT...I DIDNT KNOW....
