The album artwork, photographed by American glamour photographer Peter Gowland,[23][24] features Wilson, Cuomo, Sharp, and Bell standing in front of a plain, blue background.[25] Cuomo stated that, while the band liked the photo, Sharp was not happy with the way his head looked. A Geffen art director used Adobe Photoshop to swap out the head with one from another shot.[26] The image was used prominently in the advertising of the album.[27] The cover received many comparisons to that of the Feelies' album Crazy Rhythms, which Weezer had no prior knowledge of. Instead, according to band historian Karl Koch, Cuomo was inspired by the cover of a "super-cheap truck-stop Greatest Hits of the Beach Boys" cassette, which featured the Beach Boys with striped shirts in front of a blue background. The cover has become a part of internet culture, with it being a center of many memes, usually accompanied by the song "Buddy Holly", from the album.[23]

Canadian blues artists are missing here! The Powder Blues Band, Jeff Healey, Colin James, Randy Bachman (known for rock and jazz, yes, but he teamed up with Jeff Healey too) and others I cannot name. Maybe you did research but you seem biased to American and English whites as well as universally recognized blues artists!

I am thinking that udiscovermusic is not living up to its name but being arrogant in essentially pushing the idea that blues is English-American. It originated somewhere, found a place in America, became known in England, Canada too I would argue and perhaps many other places. Excellent list, though I would have left a Various Artists field opened for CHICAGO! THE BLUES! TODAY! from 1966. Three volumes with Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, Otis Spann, Otis Rush, J.B. Hutto, Jimmy Cotton, Walter Horton, Johnny Shines, Johnny Young, Homesick James, and Charlie Musselwhite is absolutely essential blues listening!

There are some good albums here, but a number of giants like Robert Nighthawk, Big Joe Turner, Tommy Johnson and J.B. Hutto are strangely absent. The choice for Muddy Waters does not cover his best recordings. Why not The Best of Muddy Waters?
