I have tried all the steps outlined by Jennifer in her reply and unfortunately none of them have resolved the issue. I am unable to watch anything on bbc iplayer without the image flashing black periodically. This ruined the world cup for me and is now ruining Happy Valley!

One suggestion that did work was lowering the resolution in iplayer to standard definition. This stops the flashing for me but as I said in my reply to Iplayer I didn't buy a 4k tv to watch content in standard definition! ff782bc1db
