I looked at this yesterday and thought this would be my fix. I understand the process with re-initialising Slick, my problem with this code is how the ajax call code fits in to your code that you supply on the FAQ page e.g.

I showed in my earlier post (#169698) how it can be integrated. I myself have used this structure of code many times, so I know it works in theory (but I have not done it with slick). Whatever code you need to be run after ajax is triggered, needs to be in the place where I used it.

I see the same error in the console on your site. And also I see the CloudFlare cache. So, read the article and check if the solution described there will help you.

we were able to reproduce. We also think it is connected to ajax page content loading and how it is performed in your theme. Probably the dom only gets replaced and the js is not executed afterwards. I would escalate that issue to your theme authors as they should be able to tell you where you can place custom js after the ajax content has loaded. If they tell you, we can tell you what code you need to execute for Gutenslider to work again.

Just purchased and installed fine, but when I try to create the first form I get this error in a popup "Ajax error while adding field". Looked around here first, and deactivated FancyBox and a slideshow plugin that may have been using JQuery as well, to no avail.

Many designers before starting their web design projects scrounge around for simple as well as useful image galleries and slideshows. Some designers also prefer to have a huge collection of Ajax, JavaScript, Lightbox based image galleries and slideshows so that at the time of need, they do not have to search for them.

I think you need to have all page-specific content in .html files. When the user requests another page, put the content of that page in a container-div. The ajax methods in jQuery are really making this easy. Simply use jQuery's load method. When the content is loaded into that container, use some kind of animate function to 'slide' to that page.

Accessing data

The event handler can access the delegated parameters as members on the event.detail object.

For example ajax:beforeSend defines three parameters: event, xhr and settings which makes the detail object look like this:

SlideShow is an extender that targets image controls. You can provide it with buttons to hit previous, next and play. You can configure the slideshow to play automatically on render, allow it loop through the images in a round robin fashion and also set the interval for slide transitions. You can use a page method to supply images to the slide show or use a webservice. In the sample above we have provided you with a slideshow that plays automatically on render and loops around to the first picture if you hit next on the last picture and vice versa if you hit previous on the first picture. The slideshow transitions pictures after 3 seconds.

This is a simple SlideshowClient web application having next/previous manual image switching and normal Start/Stop slideshow options. This application basically uses client side scripting using JavaScript and XMLHTTPRequest.

If we are only using images, then we can directly change image control source within the JavaScript. But here we want some description or some display information for each image. So I choose a simple XML file to store the data required for the slideshow. I only added description here as informational data but we can add more details as per the requirement.

In the web page, I added some HTML controls required for the slideshow. So now comes the question. How does it actually work? It's not much complicated. I am using the hero XMLHttpRequest for getting the data from the server each time user interacts with the application. Actually what does this XMLHttpRequest do? By using XMLHttpRequest, we can send request to server and get data back in the script without reloading the entire page. So it's very popular in web development especially in AJAX. Before sending the request to the server, we should use open method for specifying the parameters needed for the request object.

One more functionality is Automatic playback or in other words, the real slideshow. How we are going to do that? Of course, by using setInterval method in JavaScript. This method will call a method at a regular interval of time until clearInterval() is called.

If we use larger size images, adjust the timer according to the loading time for image, otherwise in some browsers while playing the slideshow, it won't get time to load the image and it'll only slide through the description.

This slideshow has a plain transparent frame which looks good on different backgrounds. Arrows consist of black transparent rectangles with rounded borders and white arrows inside. Bullets are situated at the upper-right corner and it looks like small black dots. Navigation bullet can also change its color to white when you select it. The description uses the same style as arrows: white caption and a black transparent rectangle as a background. The font of the writing is Tahoma.

I know that this works, as I dummied it up and called it from a web page. So the question I think is how do I create a call to jquery in side my user.js to call an ajax post event to make use of my PHP. 0852c4b9a8
