I have Acrobat XI, V. 11.0.23. I did right click on several Outlook Mails and converted them to a single PDF-file, including flags, which indicate the mail archives. So for example in the PDF-file Mr. Smith you could find the Mail Lunch at Noon? and the mail Dinner at 8? in the flags. One click and you got the mail, with possible attachments. Then I deleted Flash Player. I just got now the remark to reinstall the flash player plug in. I can't see the flags of the other mails, just the first mail. How can I restore them?

I used this method to build up an archive of important Mails. I had the problems you have myself. However, I downloaded the newest version of Acrobat Reader. With that reader I could open my archieved mails again (with attachments). Just DL the newest version of the Reader, and everything should be okay. Then you should have access to all mails and attachments again.

I downloaded the reader, but I am still not able to see the index that was created when I combined my emails into one pdf. Is there a way to read the index? and then access all of the emails? I still just see the last one.

apparently Chrome has its own flash player. So no need to try to get Adobe flash to work when using Google chrome. I was recently tring to watch movie trailers on VUDU while from Google Chrome browser, and of course the flash player error message kept coming up to ad the extension. But I was able to solve the problem and was able to watch the movie trailers. I had to open the chrome browser go to the settings. The 3 little periods stack vertically top right corner. Get the drop down window click on settings. Then in the search bar of the settings> type Flash go to content settings>click on flash. There you can ad the web site to allow google chrome to use the flash player. Hopefully this resolves other situations. thanks [moderator: deleted personal information as per forums policy]

So I went to install the latest version Adobe Flash Player 26 however I still keep getting the same notification. My friends who are using older versions of flash player are able to load the file while i'm unable to load it. Is there any way to resolve this issue or is there something else which needs to be configured?

Please download and install "FP 26 for Firefox - NPAPI" from and relaunch Adobe Reader/Acrobat. It should fix the flash player issue. (Note: This Flash installer needs to be installed for flash content rendering in Adobe Reader/ Acrobat, irrespective of browser present at the system)

I am experiencing the same exact problem. Clicking "learn more" only takes you to the installer page for flash player to install the same software which is already installed but not acting as though it is being recognized.

I've tried restarting the PC, re-downloading the offending PDF document, and nothing is working. I have the standard version of adobe acrobat DC installed. It's acting as though acrobat DC is not recognizing that adobe flash player 32-bit is installed. My computer is 64 bit.

Once again, Installing that flash player software does nothing to resolve the problem as I originally outlined and as the original poster outlined as well. Once the installation successfully completes, you're still unable to play flash videos existing within a PDF. To add insult to injury, the learn more button still shows at the top of the PDF document, and the endless cycle continues. It's as if the PDF does not recognize that flash player is installed.

I downloaded the flash player for windows 10 compatible for chrome. The other options are for mac, opera, and firefox - none of which I have installed. After installing the flash player, the pdf still does not play the embedded video file within the PDF document. I've also tried opening the PDF with chrome to see whether it was isolated to just the browser, but chrome fails to load the video within the PDF as well.

In reply to Elder's comment: "Removing the installer package won't remove the plugin", I just wanted to clarify that the pre-processing scripts of flashplugin-installer package, does remove the plugin, as long as you take care of marking it for Complete Removal or use "purge" action, as both the answers recommends.

The FlahUtil_Activex files are associated with Microsoft's embedded Flash Player in IE/Edge. The standalone uninstaller does NOT remove these and never has. Microsoft has released an update, -us/help/4577586/update-for-removal-of-adobe-flash-player, to remove the embedded Flash Player ActiveX. The update is currenetly optional and once executed completely removes the embedded Flash Player ActiveX. If you encounter issues running this update to remove the embedded Flash Player ActiveX Control please contact Micrsoft for assistance as this is their update, not Adobe's.

I've found so many solutions on the internet all of which do not work (yay). So can someone explain to me one working solution to get the latest Adobe Flash Player on the firefox 39.0 of all my users, so they will be able to see flash? I'd rather do stuff in Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/browser than in everyone's Users/user1/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla.

Thanks in advance

Adobe Flash Player is an application that lets you watch multimedia content developed in Flash in a wide range of web browsers. Interactive animations, games, flash documents, videos or music are just a few examples of the type of content you'll have access to with Adobe Flash Player. The application also supports SWF format, used by programs like Adobe Flash or Flex.

I have a little bit of a problem that is not appearing on any other computer. I am running Windows 7 and on one of my computers in the office and it is showing in Mozilla Firefox Adobe Flash Played being updated and outdated at the exact same time. I have the latest flash player installed which is 18.0.0.194, yet it is still listing Adobe Flash Player 17.0.9.18 and is saying it is outdated. I have checked my system along with a few technicians as well and it is very clear that only Flash Player 18.0.0.194 is installed on my system for both Internet Explorer and Firefox. We are at a loss as to what is going on or why this is showing this type of error. I don't even have Adobe Flash 17.0.9.18 installed on the system. With the computer still up in the shop after a week and doing a ton of research in the forums we are all at a loss for what is happening. We have tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling and that did not help. We also tried uninstalling Adobe Flash and reinstalling a fresh version of it as well. None of these is resolving the problem. Resetting Firefox as well did not help either. Being that this is only transpiring on one computer I am finding this to be a very odd situation. Is there anyone out there that has a clue what is happening and how to fix this or is truly something that cannot be fixed? There are no viruses on the system. Yes, I tried updating via the update button as well as trying to go directly to the Adobe website itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As you can see by images I have followed all instructions to get flashplayer .194 to work and also note image for .160 NPAPI which was working before I updated my plugins for FF 38.0... Using W7 x64. Trying to use Directv site =https%3A//www.directv.com/tv/Bones-aC9yMmRkdllTbmc9%3Fkeyword%3DBones with new plugin .194 flashplayer is always crashing with no crash report. Needed to go to Task Mgr to end task before I could open browser window. There are many Directv customers that are having the same issue after updating flashplayer for FF 38.0 .... for W7 x64. Last count 47 that was only yesterdays total at Directv Forum.

No, not the same issue with flashplayer .194 vers.. Flashplayer 18 and Directv Player 12 vers. are incompatible using FF 38. Flashplayer 18 works and streams on all other sites with no incompatibility or crashing issues.

The application that you are running in Adobe Flash Player wants to store some information on your computer, but it needs more space than is currently allocated. By default, every flash application is allocated 100 kilobyte system memory. If an application want to store more information it requests this by this pop up to save the information. Once you allow the application to store information, application can store as much information as it wants. Note that it is the person or company that has created the application you are using that is requesting such access, not Adobe (unless Adobe has created the application that wants to save the information). In the dialog box shown above, [website] represents the name of the person or company requesting access.
