I am facing the same problem for quite a long time. Previously, it was very smooth to open any pdf files in my android tab from cloud storage like dropbox, etc., make annotations, and be automatically saved in the cloud. The exact original file! When I opened it from my PC, the changes or annotations were there. Sadly, now it is no longer work. Please fix this as soon as possible.

I've been annotating pdfs of my textbooks and it just stopped syncing up to Onedrive sometime over the past 3 days. I didn't even realize it until I reopened an immunology book I had been studying for hours and 3 chapters worth of notes were just gone! I remember that adobe used to sync so seamlessly with Dropbox back in the day but when I tried it out, it was just as unstable. Google Drive as well. I thought that maybe Adobe's own cloud service should work properly but it won't even save local copies for when I'm reading in the subway and will just mess up if I don't have signal. I have no idea what you did to this application but it is barely functional on an android tablet.

I just signed up for the Adobe Acrobat DC Pro application, and have installed the related mobile application on my Android device. Both the sales page and the salesperson I spoke with told me I could edit PDFs on my Android device. However, now that I have it installed, I only see Create PDF and Export PDF functions...no edit. How do I edit the text for PDFs I create on my android device?

I use my android phone and tablet as a scanner. When i need to email sensitive documents, i have no option in Acrobat Reader to password protect the file. This reeks of intentional business strategy for profit. If reader works on my tablet, then there's certainly SOME additional functionality that could be easily added.

When I open PDFs from OneDrive using the Adobe Acrobat android app (that's what it's called on my phone - presumably it's the same as Acrobat Reader Mobile?) I can add highlights and comments, but apparently not save it back to OneDrive easily. Does anyone know how I can do this?

This problem still continues to happen 2022. The only way to truly correct it is to look up the error DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN, for most people the resolution is simply switching your private dns from auto to a named dns like dns.google .Other Os apart from android may require different work arounds. This still works using a VPN.

I am using the android mobile PDF viewer on a newish mid-spec tablet. The PDF I am trying to view is around 80MB with 82 pages. I downloaded the PDF to my local tablet storage thinking it will be quicker than viewing online or through an email however there is still problems. If I wait for the pages to load it displays a few pages but then scrolling through the document they change to appear blank and display as white pages. There doesn't seem to be any settings I can change on the mobile version of the software for things like cache amounts. This same issue happens with other large PDFs as well.

Having read the help page, I agree, you don't need Create PDF (and can't use it because you don't have a subscription). Use the scan button as described here: -docs/rm/android/acrobatandroid_en/scan.html

I am using fillable forms from a service based software that need to be edited in the adobe app. In Apple there is a way to change the settings so all shared documents are flattened. However, some of my technicians use android devices and they cannot find the toggle for flattened copies in their settings. Although we are a essential business with covid I am trying to avoid meeting with them and looking into it. If anyone knows where this setting is and can help me that would be terrific. Screenshots would help greatly.

I tried this and while it did 'flatten' my document (remove form fields), it also removed the links I had embedded in my PDF. Is there a different way of sharing a flattened form without losing the links? I'm using android. Other colleagues use iPhone. Thanks!

Hi, I was wondering if there is a function on the Adobe Reader (android version for tablets/smartphones) that allows me to read/open multiple files in different tabs. Something similar to opening several web pages on your browser. Tx

If your device is rooted you can check the directory /data/data/com.adobe.reader which is the app-private directory of the Adobe Acrobat reader app. Also check it's subdirectories. Most likely you will find the saved PDF file there.

Have you managed to solve this problem, we use dropbox and adobe for our work tablets, dropbox have come back to us saying it's not a problem their end but something to do with Adobe, this has been happening for at least a month and we have no idea how to solve the issue, so any ideas would be a big help.

Hi, any update on this? My pdf document defaults to opening in Word instead of Google drive or Adobe acrobat. However, if I long press the pdf document and select View, it opens in Google drive. How do I set that as default?

I have a pdf file which can be edited through Adobe Acrobat. When I open the file straight away from Adobe Acrobat app and edit the file, and when I press the back button it gets saved automatically, but when I open with Cordova application, it is opening with Adobe Acrobat app and I can also able to edit that, but when press the back button and come back to app and once again hit that particular pdf file from the Cordova application, it is not showing the edited content (it happens only with above android 7 versions, but below android version 7 it is working fine from the app).
