What is First Robotics Competition?

FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an international high school robotics competition. Each year, teams of high school students, coaches, and mentors from all around the world work together in order to build a robot in duration of six weeks. On competition day, teams compete against each other with their robots in order to gain as many points as possible in order win. Robots are expected to perform different types of tasks according to game rules. The theme and game of the competition changes every year. FIRST is an organization that helps foster young minds in the field of STEM. FIRST also has other competitions such as : FIRST LEGO League Jr., FIRST LEGO League, and FIRST Tech Challenge.
