I am a doctoral student at the University of Munich.
My research interests are in empirical macroeconomics, monetary policy, and international finance.
Our paper on the effects of monetary policy announcements on firm expectations has been published in the Journal of Monetary Economics. I also study the role of expectations for firm outcomes as well the reaction of household expectations to monetary policy using large micro data sets. In addition, I compare the profitability of foreign assets across countries and analyze the determinants of returns. Please see the Research section for more information.
