About me

Dr Frank Guan, a veteran in Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), owns years of experience and passion towards advancing, innovating and applying VR&AR&AI technologies. He currently serves as an Associate Professor and Programme Leader (RTIS/IMGD) at the ICT Cluster of Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

Dr Frank Guan currently sits on the Editorial Board for PRESENCE: Virtual and Augmented Reality (MIT Press), Computer & Graphics (Elsevier), The Visual Computer Journal (TVCJ) (Springer), Journal in Frontiers in Virtual Reality and Human Behavior and Journal of Visual Intelligence (Springer). He also has enthusiasm and passion towards entrepreneurship and had served on the advisory panel for three tech-startups.

Dr Frank Guan received his PhD from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2007 and his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Chu Kechen Honors College at Zhejiang University (ZJU), China in 2002. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
