"The Bachelor's degree holder specialising in psycho-educational support is a social worker who bases their educational approach on:

·         the overall development of the individual(s),

·         the autonomy of the individual(s) with a view to responsible and supportive citizenship,

·         the ability to act as a social actor and to engage in social movements. 

They work with different groups (children, young people, adults, elderly people), building and managing  collaborations with other professionals in the sector and other sectors. 

He works either within an institution or department, or in the natural environment.

Through an analysis of how the political, economic, social and cultural systems work, they master the issues involved in socio-educational policies, position themselves in relation to these policies and act as social actors in accordance with the specific missions of the institution where they work.

·         a connecting role by acting on the relational network of individuals and/or groups

·         an interface function by occupying a central place within the multidisciplinary team
