FramePlayer ("we," "our," "us," or "the Service") places a high priority on protecting your privacy and handling your personal data with care. This Privacy Policy describes the categories of information we gather, the reasons we gather it, how it is stored and safeguarded, and the circumstances under which it may be disclosed, in connection with the FramePlayer mobile application and its related features.

1.1 Details You Supply Directly
Video Files You Import: FramePlayer lets you bring video clips into the app so you can attach tags for easier organization. The clips you import are handled through on-device processing.
Account Details (Optional): Should you decide to register an account in order to keep your library consistent across devices, we ask for your email address to act as your unique login. You may also set a password. We do not require any further personally identifying details.
Messages You Send Us: If you write to us about a problem, ask a question, or share a suggestion, we may retain the contents of that message, which ordinarily includes your email address and the substance of your request.
1.2 Details We Observe Automatically
Technical and Behavioral Signals: While you operate FramePlayer, we may quietly record certain technical and behavioral signals, such as your handset brand and model, operating system edition, app build number, fault traces, timing measurements and tagging activity patterns, and aggregate trends showing how the various tools are used.
Device Authorizations: To read video files from your library and to save trimmed results back to your device, we require storage access clearance. Each authorization request is paired with a plain-language explanation, and we obtain your affirmative agreement before any access takes place.
2. Purposes Behind Our Use of Information
We apply the information we gather toward the following ends:
- Running and maintaining FramePlayer's essential capabilities, including importing clips, attaching tags, and saving your finished edits;
- Carrying out the specific edits and tag assignments you request and producing the resulting output files;
- Strengthening application steadiness, speed, and day-to-day usability;
- Spotting and repairing software faults, timing hiccups, and other technical snags;
- Handling support conversations, answering user questions, and channeling suggestions into future releases;
- Upholding the security posture and operational soundness of the Service; and
- Satisfying legal duties, regulatory expectations, court directives, or official government demands.
3. When Information May Be Disclosed
We do not commercialize or trade your personal data or your source video files. Disclosure happens only within these tightly drawn scenarios:
At Your Explicit Request: We may pass information along when you clearly instruct us or ask us to do so.
Via Contracted Service Partners: We work with selected outside companies—such as those providing fault monitoring, usage measurement, cloud hosting, and help-desk tooling—to keep FramePlayer running and improving. These partners operate under binding data-handling terms and may touch information only for the missions set out in this Privacy Policy.
To Meet Legal Duties: We may reveal information when we determine in good faith that doing so is reasonably called for to comply with relevant statutes, legal proceedings, or supervisory requirements, or to defend our legal interests, look into wrongdoing, or protect public welfare.
During Corporate Changes: If FramePlayer takes part in a merger, buyout, funding event, restructuring, or asset transfer, user records may move as part of that deal, subject to the protections required by applicable law.
4. Storage, Retention, and Safeguards
How Long We Keep Data: We hold personal details only for the span reasonably needed to run the Service, fulfill the purposes named in this Privacy Policy, settle disputes, and meet record-keeping duties. You can erase your imported clips and their associated tags whenever you like using the removal tools built into the app.
On-Device Handling: All cutting, trimming, and tagging operations take place natively on your own device. Completed exports are written straight to your device's local storage.
Protective Arrangements: We put reasonable technical and administrative defenses in place to guard against unauthorized entry, accidental loss, improper alteration, or exposure. These include securing data while it travels across networks (SSL/TLS) and encrypting stored credentials such as passwords. Even so, no electronic transmission path or storage system is completely impenetrable, and we do not claim flawless security.
Movement Across Borders: Information handled by our partner providers may cross national boundaries and rest in regions whose privacy rules differ from yours. When that happens, we put suitable contractual or legal instruments in place, as required by prevailing data protection law.
5. Rights You Hold Over Your Information
Depending on where you live, you may hold some or all of the following rights concerning your personal data:
- Ask to inspect or receive a copy of the personal data we keep about you;
- Ask us to fix any inaccurate or incomplete details;
- Ask us to erase personal information concerning you;
- Push back on, or ask us to limit, particular processing activities;

6. Younger Users
FramePlayer is not aimed at individuals below the age of 13. We do not knowingly gather personal data from children under that age. If you are a parent or guardian and suspect that a minor has handed us personal details, please tell us right away. If we confirm that such data was gathered without legally adequate permission, we will delete it promptly.
Where a higher age floor applies in your country or region, we honor that stricter standard.
7. Revisions to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy as our operations, technology, or legal surroundings evolve. When meaningful changes are made, we will refresh the "Effective Date" shown at the top of this document. Where the law calls for it, we will offer extra notice—perhaps through a message inside the app. Your continued use of FramePlayer after a revised policy takes effect signals your acceptance of the updated terms.
