The game was based on the parlor game Charades and featured two teams of two players each. To start the game, one member from each team joined Jim at the center of the stage. Jim secretly showed the two players a phrase and a time limit in which the players could guess the phrase. For example, the phrase could be "Falling In Love With You." The two players then took turns bidding on how much time they needed to guess the phrase. Starting with the base time on Jim's card, the players alternated bidding a lower amount of time until one of them challenged the other to play the phrase. The player who won the bid then pantomimed the phrase to his/her teammate using the time they bid. If the teammate guessed the phrase, they won the word but if time ran out, their opponents scored the word. Each word won was placed on the team's score board. The first team to score three words won the game.
