Privacy Policy for FoxyReply

FoxyReply is a Chrome extension that helps users draft, review, edit, and copy LinkedIn comments and replies from the fox icon beside posts, comments, and replies.
This Privacy Policy explains what information FoxyReply handles, how that information is used, and what choices users have.
1. Information We Store
FoxyReply stores certain information locally in Chrome storage so the extension can function properly. This may include:
- Your API key
- Prompt settings
- Saved writing samples
- Client voice profiles
- Payment access status
This information is used only to provide FoxyReply’s drafting, customization, and access-control features.
2. Information We Process
When you choose to generate a draft, FoxyReply may process the visible LinkedIn post, comment, or reply text you are responding to, along with the selected style, prompt, or voice profile.
This information is sent only when you actively request a draft. FoxyReply does not continuously monitor LinkedIn content and does not automatically submit or post comments on your behalf.
3. How We Use Information
FoxyReply uses information only to:
- Generate draft LinkedIn comments and replies
- Apply your selected writing style or saved voice profile
- Store your preferences and customization settings
- Confirm paid access to the extension
- Improve the reliability of the extension’s core functionality
FoxyReply does not use your information for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or unrelated purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
FoxyReply may communicate with third-party services necessary to provide the extension:
- LinkedIn, where the extension operates
- An AI generation provider, used to generate draft comments and replies
- ExtensionPay, used to manage payment and access status
These third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies.
5. Data Sharing
FoxyReply does not sell user data.
FoxyReply does not transfer user data to third parties except where necessary to provide the extension’s core functionality, such as generating a requested draft or confirming payment access.
6. User Control
You remain in control of all generated content. FoxyReply only creates editable drafts. It does not automatically post, submit, like, message, or otherwise act on LinkedIn on your behalf.
You can remove locally stored FoxyReply data by uninstalling the extension or clearing the extension’s Chrome storage.
7. Data Security
FoxyReply is designed to keep user settings, API keys, writing samples, and client profiles in Chrome storage. Users should keep their browser profile secure and should not share their API key with others.
8. Children’s Privacy
FoxyReply is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
