This application ("HabitFlow", the "App"), provided by FOUU, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
1. Data stored on your device Habits you create (names and descriptions), daily check-ins, focus sessions, and achievements are stored locally in a database on your device by default. This data is not uploaded unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.
2. Account and cloud sync When you sign in with an email or Google account and enable cloud sync, the habit data described above is backed up to our cloud database (Firebase Firestore, operated by Google) so it can be restored after reinstalling the App or switching devices. We only store the email used to sign in (and, for Google sign-in, basic public profile information) together with a user identifier bound to your account. We do not collect your password. You can sign out at any time from within the App; upon account deletion, your cloud backup is removed.
3. AI insights feature When you use AI insights (a premium feature), we send anonymized aggregate statistics (such as habit count, overall completion rate, and current streak) to a third-party large language model service (DeepSeek / Google Gemini) to generate textual suggestions. We do not upload any specific check-in content, habit names, or personally identifiable information.
4. Advertising Free users may see banner, interstitial, or rewarded ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device information such as the advertising identifier to deliver relevant ads. Upgrading to an ad-free (premium) membership disables all advertising.
5. Push notifications We may use Firebase Cloud Messaging (operated by Google) to send you local or push notifications related to habit reminders and achievement unlocks.
6. Third-party service providers We use the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy: Firebase / Google (authentication, cloud database, push notifications), Google AdMob (advertising), and DeepSeek and Google Gemini (AI text generation).
7. Data deletion You can delete your cloud data at any time by deleting your account within the App. Local device data can be removed by uninstalling the App or clearing its app data. We do not sell any of your personal information.
8. You can delete your HabitFlow account and all related data at any time. Deletion is irreversible.
Option 1 (recommended): inside the App — Open HabitFlow → Settings → scroll to the "Danger Zone" card → tap "Delete account" → confirm. This will wipe your cloud backup (Firestore) and local database, and remove your Firebase Authentication identity in one step.
Option 2 (no app / device lost): email request — Send an email to sizhengxu666@gmail.com with subject "Delete HabitFlow Account" and the Google account email you used to sign in. We will verify and delete your account and all cloud data within 7 business days.
What we delete: your Firebase Authentication identity; all Firestore documents under your UID (habits, habit_logs, focus_sessions, achievements, etc.); local Room database (when deleted via the App).
What we do NOT automatically delete: anonymized, aggregated statistics; Play Billing records (managed by Google, please use Google Play Subscriptions center for those).
