Thank you for using Wallify (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. It accurately reflects the App's current actual behavior.
1. Information We Collect
Local Favorites Data: Wallpapers you favorite are stored only on your device (local Room database). They are not uploaded to any server and are not synced across devices.
AI Generated Content: The prompts you enter are sent to the Pollinations AI image service (a free public API) to generate wallpapers. Prompts are used only for that generation request and are not stored long-term on our servers.
Wallpaper Browsing Data: The App fetches wallpapers via the public Pexels API and Unsplash. Requests contain only search keywords and no personally identifiable information.
The App currently does not require login, does not collect account information (such as email or display name), does not show ads, and does not collect Advertising ID. If any of these features are enabled in the future, we will update this policy and notify you in advance.
2. How We Use Information
To provide wallpaper browsing, AI generation, and local favorites features;
To improve the product and diagnose issues.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, governed by their own privacy policies:
Pollinations (https://pollinations.ai) — AI image generation
Pexels (https://www.pexels.com) — wallpaper source API
Unsplash (https://unsplash.com) — wallpaper source (fallback)
(Note: account sync, advertising, and Google Gemini are not yet enabled, so those services are not involved at this time.)

Most wallpapers in the App come from the following third-party providers:
Pexels (https://www.pexels.com) — licensed under the Pexels License (free to use, no attribution required, not to be sold as stock).
Unsplash (https://unsplash.com) — licensed under the Unsplash License (free to use, no attribution required).
AI-generated images are created on demand from your text prompts via Pollinations and are not affiliated with any particular photographer. All image copyrights remain with their respective owners/authors. We do not claim ownership of sourced wallpapers.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your favorites are stored locally on your device. Network requests are transmitted over HTTPS. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no internet transmission is 100% secure.
5. Your Rights
You may clear your local cache/favorites or contact us at any time. Since we do not store your personal data on our servers, no "account deletion" is required.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
