Thank you for using **Daily Fortune** (the "App"). Your privacy is important to us.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used,
and the choices you have. By installing or using the App, you agree to the

- The App **does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.**
- The App **does not have internet permission** and therefore cannot send any
information to a server, third party, or the developer.
- All fortune-related inputs (such as date of birth, birth time, birth city,
personality type, or blood type) are **stored only on your device** for the
sole purpose of generating your results locally.
- The App contains **no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.**

## 2. Information the App Handles
The App generates fortune-related readings entirely on-device. To do so, it
asks for optional inputs depending on which feature you use:

This information is stored **only on your device** using Android's local
DataStore / SharedPreferences mechanisms. It is never transmitted over the
network.
The App does **not** request or access:
- Your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or device identifiers
- Your precise or approximate location (birth city is a manual preset choice)
- Your photos, files, microphone, camera, or calendar
- Your Android advertising ID

## 3. Permissions
The App declares the following Android permission:
- **`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`** (Android 13 and later): required only if you choose
to enable daily fortune notifications. You can grant, deny, or revoke this
permission at any time from your device settings. The App functions normally
without it.
The App **does not** declare `INTERNET`, `ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION`,
`ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION`, or any other runtime permission.

## 4. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising,
crash-reporting, or backend service. No SDK in the App transmits data off
your device.

## 5. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Because data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control of it.
You can delete all App data at any time by either:
1. **Uninstalling the App** (all local data is removed), or
2. Opening **Settings → Apps → Daily Fortune → Storage → Clear Data** on your
Android device.
The App also exposes an in-app option to clear your saved result history
from the History screen.
Android's system backup may include the App's preferences if you have Google
Backup enabled; this backup is managed entirely by Google and the device, not
by the App. You can disable backup for this App in Android Settings.

## 6. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any
information from any user, including children. Because no data leaves the
device, the App does not knowingly collect or store personally identifiable
information of children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in
your jurisdiction).

Since the App does not transmit data, no international data transfer takes
place. You can use the App from any country without your information leaving
your device.

## 8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (for example, under the GDPR in the European
Economic Area or the CCPA in California), you may have rights such as access,
correction, and deletion of personal data. Because the App stores data only
on your device and the developer has no access to it, you can exercise these
rights directly by clearing the App's data as described in Section 5.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will
revise the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted in
the App or on the store listing. Continued use of the App after changes take
effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
