Privacy Policy for For Today

For Today is a productivity app created by Egils Broks. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

1. Information Stored on Your Device
For Today stores your app data locally on your device. This may include:
- Tasks you add
- Completed and missed task history
- Stats and streak information
- Reminder settings
- Haptics settings
- Onboarding and app preference settings
This data is stored on your device so the app can work correctly. For Today does not currently use account login, cloud sync, or a custom server to store your tasks.
2. Purchases and Subscriptions
For Today offers optional paid features through For Today Pro.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. For Today also uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status and Pro access.
RevenueCat and Apple may process purchase-related information, such as transaction status, product identifiers, entitlement status, and technical information needed to verify purchases.
For Today does not receive your full payment card details.
3. App Analytics
We may view aggregated analytics provided by Apple App Store Connect, such as downloads, app usage, purchases, crash information, and general territory or country performance.
These analytics are provided by Apple and do not allow us to identify individual users.
For Today does not currently use third-party advertising analytics or tracking tools.
4. Notifications
If you enable reminders, For Today may schedule local notifications on your device.
Notifications are used only for app reminders. You can turn notifications off in the app or in your iPhone Settings.
5. Feedback Emails
If you choose to send feedback, your email app may send us your email address and the message you write.
We use this information only to read and respond to your feedback or support request.
6. Exports and Sharing
For Today may let you export current tasks or stats as files, such as PDF or image files.
These files are created on your device. If you choose to share them with another app or service, that sharing is handled by the app or service you select.
7. Information We Do Not Collect
For Today does not currently collect:
- Precise location data
- Contacts
- Photos or camera data
- Advertising identifiers
- Task data on our own server
- Data for third-party advertising
- Data used to track you across apps or websites
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Most app data is stored locally on your device.
You can delete data by using reset options inside the app, deleting tasks/history where available, or uninstalling the app.
Purchase and subscription records are managed by Apple and RevenueCat according to their own policies.
9. Children
For Today is not intended for children under 13 years old, or under the minimum age required by local law.

10. Your Rights
If you are located in the European Union or another region with privacy rights, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information.
Because most For Today data is stored only on your device, we may not be able to access it directly. You can delete local app data from your device or contact us about information you have sent to us by email.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when legal requirements change.
The updated version will be posted with a new “Last updated” date.
