It's not easy to get attention to your YouTube, Twitch, Mixer, or YouTube Gaming channel - over a third of streaming hours on these platforms go to only the most well-known, high-profile streamers.
Create your Fortnite graphics in under a minute using this gaming thumbnail template.
You can also attract new viewers to your streaming channel by using YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram. You'll find popular videos from Fortnite streamers on YouTube, all with a similar thumbnails style. You can make custom Fortnite thumbnails for YouTube or Twitch, all for free and online, in this article. To get it done, follow these steps:
Select a fortnite Thumbnails Template or start from scratch
Change the text, images, and background
Process, download, and share
Creating a Fortnite thumbnails image from scratch can be time consuming. By putting together four different fortnite thumbnail templates, we saved you the trouble! Simply click "Make It" to edit one of the templates in the Studio by replacing, editing, repositioning, or adding layers.
If you already have images saved on your device, or if you want to use specific images from the internet, you can start with a blank canvas. Go to Kapwing.com and click "Start Editing" to access the Kapwing Studio. You can upload a file from your computer or paste a link from the web, or you can click "Start with a Blank Canvas" to start completely from scratch. Click "16:9" under "Output Size" in the upper right corner to use the default thumbnail size for YouTube and Twitch videos, and you're ready to create your Fortnite thumbnails.
The goal of the Fortnite thumbnail is to attract your viewers' attention enough to make them click. What was the most exciting, impressive, or surprising part of the video you posted? Use these types of attention-grabbing phrases and screenshots for your Fortnite thumbnail's added text and background image. In addition to using the templates for unspecific but high-quality fortnite thumbnail images, you may want to replace these with a personal choice or custom screenshot to illustrate what your audience can expect.
You must edit your text, whether you're using a Kapwing template or creating your fortnite thumbnails from scratch. Choose one of the text boxes or click on "Text" in the top toolbar. Fortnite font is free for personal use only, so you can't monetize your videos on any platform with a free online font download. I recommend using any of several fonts that look similar to the Fortnite font: "Luckiest Guy" is my favorite (it's in the thumbnail templates), but "Passion One," "Mouse Memoirs," and "Bangers" are also good choices.
You can, however, upload the exact font to the Kawping Studio to use in your fortnite thumbnails if you'd like to use the official "Fortnite Font"! Then go to "Font" in the Studio's text options toolbar, click "More Fonts," and then "Upload Font." There you can log in with your Premium account and upload the Fortnite Font directly to your thumbnails project.
It's time to add your background and pictures! Click on "Images" in the top toolbar and search Google for the type of background you want. Look for simple search terms like "Fortnite background," "Fortnite landscape," or "Fortnite wallpaper." Choose the image you want to use, and drag the corners to fit it on the canvas. The templates already include background and image layers, but you can easily replace these as well.
Although most Fortnite thumbnails use captions, phrases, and descriptions in the "Fortnite font," you can create a high-quality Fortnite thumbnail without any text. Tfue, one of the largest Fortnite streamers in the world, rarely uses any text in his thumbnails. His thumbnails are, of course, incredibly well edited, but they also illustrate how creativity and design skills can be enough to create eye-catching, custom Fortnite thumbnails , even without text descriptions!
After creating and customizing your Fortnite thumbnail image, click "Publish" in the upper right corner of the Studio. The Kapwing app will begin processing your image in less than a second. After your picture is processed, click "Download" on the right side of the screen.
Your video and Fortnite thumbnail are now ready! When uploading your video to YouTube, you'll see your thumbnail options in the "Upload Video" window. To the left of the three preset thumbnail options, click "Upload Thumbnail.". Add the custom thumbnails image you just downloaded from Kapwing to your YouTube video.
To edit your Fortnite thumbnails on Twitch, go to your Video Manager and click "Edit" on any of your previous streams. Click "Choose File" under "Upload Custom Thumbnails" and find the Kapwing file that you recently downloaded in your file browser.
