As the ForróDAM community, we want to express our passion and love to forró by organizing forró events in Amsterdam which are for anybody who wants to dance and learn more forró. We aim for happy forrozeirxs and events made with love and fun!

Back in 2018, we started with our first event, “ForróDAM weekend”, 3 days full of forró, followed by another forró weekend, “ForróDAM blossoms”, in May 2019. Our weekends are famous for dancing only, community feeling and taking part in different activities, such as yoga and also enjoying a Brazilian jazz concert.

Now in 2020, we are coming back for more! The main focus for now will be more parties at Frankie’s and workshops with invited teachers. ForróDAM wants to emphasize the community feel and we will therefore organize more community events related to forró but also non-forró related events.
