Formula Tesla

Formula Tesla, like Formula Vee or Formula Ford is an entry-level class of single-seater  formula road racing. The class is based on stock 2017 - present Tesla Model 3/Y components to form a competitive race car around a purpose-built tube chassis, roll cage, aluminum body and racing tires. The Model 3/Y motors, battery, electronics, front and rear subframes and suspension, brakes, and wheels are all stock or modified stock parts. The intention of this class is for the average person to be able to build and maintain the car.

Formula Tesla is not a one-make championship. It allows freedom of chassis design, systems build and numerous technical items of specification on the car.
