# Privacy Policy — FORMA

Garoono ("we," "our," or "us") built the FORMA app ("App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.
## Summary
FORMA is an AI product-photography app: you upload a garment photo, and FORMA generates photos of that garment worn by an AI model. Unlike an offline app, FORMA requires an account and an internet connection, and your uploads are processed on our servers to generate your images. We collect only what the Service needs: your sign-in identity, the photos you upload for generation, the images we generate for you, your shot balance and purchase state, and limited diagnostics. We do not sell your data.
## Information We Collect
### Account information
When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name, email address, and profile photo (as provided by the sign-in provider). This identifies your account and syncs your data across devices.
### Content you provide
- **Garment photos you upload.** These are transmitted to our servers and to our AI processing providers solely to generate your requested images.
- **Generated images ("shots").** Stored in your account so you can view, download, and reuse them.
- **Profile and preferences.** Business type, garment categories, model preferences (gender, body type, skin tone), picked or custom models, saved templates, and custom prompt text.
- **Custom model descriptions.** Text you write to generate a custom model.
### Usage and purchase information
- Shot balance, generation counts, and generation status (needed to operate the shot system)
- Purchase and subscription state via RevenueCat and the app stores (we do not receive your card details; billing is handled entirely by Apple/Google)
### Information collected by third-party services
- **Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, App Check, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging):** account authentication, data storage, secure processing, app-integrity verification, configuration, and notifications. Firebase may collect device information, instance identifiers, and push tokens.
- **RevenueCat:** an anonymous app user identifier tied to your account and your purchase history, to manage entitlements.
- **AI processing providers:** receive the garment image and the generation prompt for each shot, solely to produce the image. They do not receive your name or email from us.
- **Crash and performance data:** device model, OS version, and crash logs, in aggregate.
### Information we do NOT collect
- We do not access your contacts or precise location
- We do not use your microphone
- Camera and photo library access happens only when you choose to take or pick a garment photo; we never scan your library
- We do not collect payment card details (Apple/Google process all payments)
- We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information
## Permissions
- **Photos / media (optional):** to pick a garment photo for generation and to save downloaded shots to your gallery.
- **Camera (optional):** to photograph a garment directly.
- **Notifications (optional):** for account and progress-related messages. Disable anytime in device settings.
- **Internet (required):** FORMA's core feature — AI generation — runs on our servers and requires a connection.
## How We Use Information
- Generate the images you request and maintain your shoot history
- Operate your account, shot balance, subscriptions, and purchases
- Maintain security and prevent abuse (App Check integrity verification, rate limiting, content-safety checks on prompts and images)
- Fix crashes and improve the App at an aggregate level
- Send notifications you have permitted
## Data Sharing
We share data only with the processors needed to run the Service (Firebase/Google Cloud, RevenueCat, our AI processing providers, Apple/Google) under their respective privacy policies, or where required by law. We never sell your photos, your generated images, or your personal information. We may use aggregated, anonymized statistics (e.g., total shots generated) to improve the Service.
## Data Retention & Deletion
- Your account data (profile, shoot history, generated images, templates, custom models) is retained while your account is active.
- Deleting your account from Account settings removes your account data from our systems; residual copies in backups are purged on a rolling basis.
- Uploaded garment images are retained only as needed to operate the Service and your history.
- Third-party services retain data per their own policies (Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google).
## Data Security
Communications are encrypted in transit. Access to your data is restricted per-user by security rules (your data is readable and writable only by your authenticated account). Server calls are protected by Firebase App Check integrity verification. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the Service.
## Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. FORMA's generation pipeline includes content-safety filtering, and the App contains no user-to-user interaction. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
## AI-Generated Content
Images produced by FORMA are synthetic and AI-generated. The models depicted are not real people. Your uploads are used only to fulfil your own generation requests; we do not use your photos to train AI models.
## Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. You can:
- View and manage your data in the App (shoots, templates, models, profile)
- Delete individual saved items, or delete your entire account from Account settings
- Manage notification permissions in device settings
- Contact us with any privacy request at the addresses below
## Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Review it periodically for changes.
